Buddha was enlightened by sitting under a tree not while sleeping. The sleep part came after the enlightenment. You can try that too. Sit under a tree and get enlightened.
Buddha was enlightened that why he went to sleep. An enlightened person is a sleepy person...that's why.....Aaaaaah...I'm feeling sleepy right now....Zzzzz.
