....people come across as having strong, illogical religious beliefs. Like, I'll be talking to someone and then they will start paraphrasing the Bible/Koran/etc. and I will start to feel very uncomfortable. I'll keep smiling and nodding, but inside I feel physically ill and repulsed....

Is that common??

I have a close friend of mine who is a lesbian. Even though I found out that she's a lesbian, I still accepted it and we're still close friend for years. But when we sit really close to each other I feel kind of strange and weird sitting that close to her...i guess I was a uncomfortable...even when she stare at me for a while and when she touches me. Am I being descrimiated?

is somehow amazing? If I write a work of fiction I can claim anything I want. If my work of fiction is based on older myths, I can refer to those older myths!

So if you write a story about someone who's fulfilling prophecies, guess what? Your character will do that! How is that surprising or proof of anything?
