So i'm sleeping it's 12:00pm, and I hear the
drunk obnoxious neighbors above me having yet
another party, i'm sick of hearing them it's annoying
so I just crank my sweet stereo to 32 but it doesn't have the effect i want now i'm just the dj..
wtf to do without going postal?

I'm a full time college student and when
I get to sleep and I need it taking summer
courses I don't need to hear some drunken
female with a valley girl voice going OMG!
GIGGLE.. HE HE HE... If I wouldn't of cranked my stereo which makes me no better I could call the cops, next time they
can deal with the law.

get ear plugs...I have the same problem...I'm afraid if I call the cops I'll end up with my tires slashed or worse.

calling the cops sucks these days because they will come to you and you'll have to make a statement, and then your sttupid neiighbors will know who ratted on them.
The police always want to shove as much responsibility on us. And if you do call them, they won't show up for at least 90 minutes.
I would try anyways. And complain to the landlord every single time. The landlord will get sick of hearing from you, and just might do something about the problem. They are losing potential renters.

Since it is 12PM, there is little you can do, because most countries have laws that say you can't make any disturbances before 7 or 8AM and after 10 - 11 PM at night.
12Pm in the afternoon, they have a right to do as they wish, becaus it is most accepted that the majority of the population is awake at that time, and there is little reason you should be asleep, aside the weekend.
If you are working at night, or it affects your work performance in any way, you can complain, but other than that, you simply have to deal with it, or eventually move.

Yes, you can call the police. There are noise rules, after 10 or 11PM.
Or, you could just go to sleep with a 20 inch box fan running in your room. That masks out most noises. I used to work nights, and used the fan for daytime sleeping in a fairly busy neighborhood. That worked well.

I don't have this problem but we do have neighbors that have dogs that practically bark at night whenever they want to and wake up the whole neighborhood. What I have to say about your neighbors, well, why don't you go join them and have one hell of a good time. If that doesn't work, whenever they are sober, go and talk to them calmly and ask them to either have their parties a little earlier or not to have them at all. If they refuse really rudely I would storm off and next time it happened call the cops and let them take care of it.

call the cops after all it's after 12:00 pm or is it 12:00am. Then go to the landlord too, but I think the cops would do better, cuz some landlords don't want to get involved, they just want their rent money like the ***holes I had before.They choose to have noisey neightbors and and empty apt.

If it's midnight and they're causing a racket, call the cops. There are noise ordinances in most cities, and most of them say that you can't cause a disturbance after a certain hour, frequently around 10 or 11.

He has no rights of worrying others. i'm notably particular that he might hate in case you may wait till night while their stunning little ones are dreaming already, after which you're making fairly some noise and disturbances. i'm particular he will call the police officers. So, call the police.

ask them to calm it down...if they don't after speaking to them then Call the police. But you atleast try to discuss it with them first. I have been on both sides of that situation, and was really appreciative when the communication was there, and was not happy when the police just showed up unexpectedly. I asked the people the next day to please just call me and yell at me if I am ever to loud and I will shut up...if I don't, then call police.........and when I had loud neighbor5s they would shut up if I ever said anything, never had to call the police.

In addition to calling the police, you can contact the company you rent from (assuming you do) usually there is a policy about complains lodged from one tenant to the other.

Keep peace with your neighbors. You may want to speak to your rental manager, or say nothing at all. Maybe just move to the country.
