That was an old testment Jewish costom. In the New testament if you read it, Paul has a vision and Jesus tells him all meants are now clean. Paul then eats whtever he pleases.Doing good things CANNOT get you intoheaven though. It's only by accepting a gift FREE of charge to follow the one who makes you complete. Nothing else you can do will save you.

Well if you read the passage in the Bible about what things you should eat, you might realize that you should abstain from eating shrimp and shellfish, these is because eating these things is not healthy for any individuals body. Further more, eating these things is not a sin. But the important thing is, if you truly love God and you want to follow his will, you might consider about not eating shrimp and shellfish. Don't worry, if somehow you continue to eat these things, you will surely go to heaven if you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior.

The Jewish dietary rules (which do limit the types of sea foods) are primarily based on food safety.

Pork used to have a very high probability of giving people trichinosis and other illnesses... so pork was listed ans "unclean"

Most shellfish such as crabs and lobster can also be problems.

Modern food safety standards and people having learned how to inspect the meat and prepare it to minimize (practically eliminate) the risks.

According to the book "Acts" in the new testament, the dietary restrictions were eliminated, along with many other restrictions..

Yes it's against the bible but it doesn't determine your endings. God doesn't send people to hell for one thing that we are struggling wit cause he know we aren't perfect... But in the mean time instead of getin all righteous over food try controlling you racist ways cause the bible does say love thy neighbor and many other things regarding love. Being racist like YOU is not.

But do what you can and let God guide you through the rest!

Eating shrimp and shellfish is not gonna send you to hell. It's not even a sin, if it is, I sure do a lot of sinning.

please actually read the Bible and you will know that instruction was for a certain group of Jews for health reasons, so their food would be clean, in the Old Testament. It no longer is an instruction for the Jews in the New Testament.

No, theres nothing racist about this question. (as for some of your other statements...) And please don't be ridiculous. Maybe if you actually REALLY looked at the bible you would see that it is a load of junk and that people just need to live their lives and let others live theirs in peace.
