I should hope not although I don't understand the need for it. It's your body and you can do as you will with it. Tattoos I really don't understand, I may be showing my age here but I think that they look so trashy. Here's a beautiful woman with a georgeous gown on and then there's that ink that wrecks the whole vision. I don't think you can be buried in a Jewish burial ground with tattoos. But again, it's a matter of taste and I just think that tattoos are a bit beyond my understanding so don't bash me for my opinion, I haven't told you what to do or think. As for the Christian aspect, our bodies are supposed to be temples but who's to say what God wants on those temples? I do have pierced ears. Pretty racey, huh? More devout Christians will probably be able to give you a dozen reasons on why we're all going to hell.

If a person is transformed from being a sinner into being a CHRISTIAN, the old man is changed to a new man.

Let's read Ephesians 4:22, 24

" that ye put away, as concerning your former manner of life, the old man, that waxeth corrupt after the lusts of deceit;

and put on the new man, that after God hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth. "

The things of the past are changed.

2 Corinthians 5:17

"Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. "

In it, there would be neither Jews or Greek, bond or free, male or female

Galatians 3:28

"There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one man in Christ Jesus. "

So say there's a sinner which has tatoos in his body, when he repents and converted into being a follower of Christ, the past sins are washed and a new man is created.

Gee, it's not what you look like on the outside. *Check this out; I had my child scribble up and down my leg and had a tattoo artist ink it in. I honestly think it's what you do in this lifetime. The choices we make. You really think God cares if you have 3 naughty piercings and tats? Fashion changes over the course of time.

No, piercings and tattoos are not against the Bible. It was against the Old Testament laws because God did not want us to mark our bodies with symbolism that would be used to corrupt the land of Israel. However, since Christ Jesus fulfilled Old Testament laws with His life and death, there is no reason to follow the Old Testament unless it is commanded in the New Testament. Furthermore, I, personally, would not suggest you to get a tattoo because you are young and may regret it later on in life.

Congratulations on your piercings and tattoos! Why would you go to hell for a few piercings and tattoos. Who is making you feel so guilty? This is just society's opinion. Not God's.

Not if they know Jesus.
I don't feel bad about mine. Though I could be wrong. I do know for sure I'm not going to hell though. Jesus is the way. He alone saves us from hell. Tattoos and piercings have nothing to do with it.

no, what gives you that idea. Christian tattoos are very popular, and Christians get piercings, too. The Bible mentions to not mark on the body, but it is not an unpardonable sin. It may not be a sin at all.

Oh dude! There's a section in the bible that talks about piercings and tattoos, it says, "thou shalt have only 16 piercings and/or 6 tattoos otherwise thou shalt go to hell."

Sorry man, you're SOL.
