Truth envelops the whole cosmos and beyond.

So obviously books rules and sacred places are in the cosmos?

The question is where we find the Truth

If we recognise it in one place...then only we start seeing its vast presence

Vague question. Vague answers. All the usual new age twaddle. Truth about what exactly? If all these people who say truth is what you make it were right we would all be living in paradise but we're not are we? Truth is relative as are all things. What if the real truth was not what you wanted to hear and showed you are on the wrong track completely. Would you still want it? People say they want the truth when what they mean is they want some emotional balm that conforms to their notion of it. If you are serious about discovering some of the major truths be prepared to have your comfort zone shattered and be very clear about what truth you want to know about. In the meantime here's one very simple one that emotional religionists have failed in their millions to see. The universe was not created for man, man was created for the universe. He may have the possibility to transcend this corporeal existence but the percentage of those that will actually succeed in doing so is minuscule. The universe works on its terms and not yours and all the soothsaying wiseacreing about truth being whatever you make it will not change that fact. The question then is do you know what the universe's terms are? Are you going to trust books or other peoples glib opinions or are you going to do some work on yourself to be fit to receive what the universe has to offer?

Truth is so thick around all of us that we often cannot recognize it. Everything is true, and everything is truth. Even if one is blind, there is truth in that. Blindness is a truth that can be seen by others and which can be used as a lesson.

Everyday is Exactly the Same!

There is no *Truth* here, except that which we've perceived ourselves to have put here; and that which we tell ourselves we are perceiving. Yet, in the essence of any single moment, the *Truth* always has been, always is, and always will be ripe for the plucking.

It may seem that blindness is winning but the truth will always win in the end.

If you don't know what the truth is, then it is far away.
If you know what the truth is, then it is close at hand.

If you find truth in a book, then truth is in a book.
If you find truth in a pile of leaves, then truth is in a pile of leaves.

If you are blind, then you perpetuate blindness, and can only speak from what is known to you.
If your blindness is removed, henceforth you speak as one who was blind but who now sees.

Eyes can open and close, and they can open again, and they can be closed again.

Truth need not be limited to one medium. It can be in a book, or in your heart. It can be in the cosmos or in a grain of sand. You can behold it in a person's eye, or in the smile of a child. We all know what truth is, if we leave our hearts open for it.

Hmm, my personal philosophy is "there is no such thing as truth, only the perception of it".

We can deem anything we want to be "truth" or "false". It all comes down to viewpoints and opinions in the end, whichever side of the fence you are sitting on.

That's just me though

cosmicdrifter, my light.

my friend.

I hate books & study. I want & long to be free.

But I'm trying to do my duty to my parents as best as I am able.

... and to help keep myself sane. :-)

Part of that involves study.

Being 'predictable', having tasks.

At least at this stage in my life.

Perhaps one can be free 'around' it all.

For that I must try.

The likes of you, inspiring, admonishing, questioning... are like lights guiding one home.

Not all of us are like rockets.

The journeys of some are like carts, led by donkeys.

Those who go before, light up the landscape, and remove fear.

Together, like a caravan crossing the desert, we'll make it.

Thanks, leader. :-)
