i know eternal in french is eternel and beauty is beaute... but like together eternal beauty.. i dont want to say that its eternel beaute or beaute eternel because i'm not sure if you need to conjugate the word or not.. any one know how to say eternal beauty in french???

not a funeral funeral. but where you get to see the body of the person who has died and do prayers and stuff.

i used to love reading scary stories and watch things about mummies and stuff back when i was like 12ish. then i saw a picture of my dead great uncle when i was 13ish. it was a head shot of him in the casket. since that moment i feel like i wouldnt be able to just stand there and see a person dead. im scared i might have a panic attack or something. i just cant do it. i saw video footage of my grandpa's funeral and the open casket and everything and i just couldnt watch the whole thing. is this horrible of me? i wouldnt want to hurt the family of the person that passed away by not showing up with my family but i really feel like i cant.

have any of you gone through this? or feel the same way.

I asked the question earlier...and the few fundamentalists that attempted to answer the question, did not give a direct answer...

I seriously want to know from a fundamentalists perspective...would it be better for a child to be aborted...or would it be better for that child to be raised by a gay couple?

In responding to a question worded: "What the hell is midge talking about ---" I (along with others, 7 mins & 11 mins prior to mine) challenged the professed Christian about his use of profanity and personal insult.

I received back a rude, highly impertinent, personal email informing me that I am a hypocrite, and "lead children and their parents to Hell."

In the past 2 weeks, I have given of my time, to answer some queries because I believed them to be sincere. My question now is: Is this a serious forum; or is have I misunderstood, and entered a clique whose only interest is to insult and ridicule others?

When someone asks "What the hell is midge taking about? Is she insane?" ... I am at a loss to see the maturity, much less any christianity, in such a question. Would someone tell me, please: Is this a serious Question and Answer Forum; or have I been wasting my time in endeavouring to help others, by intruding into a private social group?
My apologies, if the latter.

I've seen a couple of people that have a Dr. connected to their name on here, and I'm wondering why because Faith is a personal gift from God and one can not have a doctorate degree that is recognized by every faith as far as theology goes so why do they put it in here? Pride?

I have a white sundress I've only worn once to my graduation three years ago. I would like to wear it again. I am not sure what the bride is wearing, but I'll bet it's white, too. Could I possibly put a colored sweater or capelet over the top or should I nix the white dress altogether and buy something else?

im not a physicist but this experiment/ link at first apperance seems to suggest an intelligence permeating the entire universe.
why this is in the religion section - well when electrons start to behave differently simply from being observed by intelligent beings some questions do have to be asked. such as can this level of organisation really be random.
some will say god of the gaps etc etc, fair enough i hear you but you surely see why this IS way weird and conceivably COULD have philosophical implications. anyhooo i hope some others find my question interesting and the link amazing, if you are highly scientifically educated please try to keep it short and simple for the rest of us.

In my sophomore year, I came out to my parents as being a bisexual. But, as years passed by (Now I'm 17, a senior), I realized that I am actually a lesbian because i've only been attracted to girls physically and mentally. It is obvious anti-abortionists have no plan in mind to ensure that every fetus is delivered.

They have no plan to ensure every fetus is safe during pregnancy.

They know desperate women will obtain abortions in some very unsafe way (unless they're rich) like throwing themselves down stairs and using coat hangers if no legal means is available.

And anti-abortionists are okay with that.

We know they're okay with that because they are trying to make abortion illegal without having -any- plan to ensure every fetus is delivered.

The real question is: why do anti-abortionists want to make the abortions they know will occur to be as unsafe as possible?

Do they secretly hope these women will die?
