Hi Perico, is not a parrot but a parakeet, a much smaller bird of the same family of the parrot that can also learn how to speak and are multicolored.

Perico is also a knickname for Pedro used in many areas of Spain.

In addition it is an adjective that means "green" as in the color and as in inmature too.

In Colombia Perico is a strong coffee with a dash of milk or what in Spain we call un cortado

Last but not least in colloquial Spanish perico or perica means cocaine

I think you mean perico and that's a parrot. It can also be used on a person who talks alot.
