Abortion is never an easy answer or choice. And has been happening legal or not since the beginning of human existence.
It wasn;t until recently that theology even firmly equated it with infantcide and murder (most followed the delayed ensoulment theory of Aristole)
Jesus never spoke about abortion, even though it was done in his day. Hebrew law also used to require abortion of a woman under certain circumstances.
Not only do they have NO plan for delivering every fetus but they have absolutely NO plan or intent to care for the children that would be born. It is not hard to figure out it would just make more death, more poverty, more abuse and more discontent. All of which are NOT life affirming. Kind of like saying the right to LIFE begins at conception and ends at birth.
Of course they don't see that and I doubt they ever will.

First of all, actually delivering a baby carries more risks to the mother than an abortion, so while some women may be harmed during an abortion, more women are harmed during childbirth. Do you recommend that women never deliver a child?
Second, there is no link between abortion and breast cancer. That is a scare tactic from the religious right intended to scare women into not having abortions. Fear is the primary motivator from that sect, I guess.
Third, abortion happens every day and will continue to happen whether another doctor performs one or not. Women have spontaneous abortions all the time, I think I read about 1/3 of all pregnancies spontaneously abort.
Fourth, you do not have the right to force a woman to endure a pregnancy.
Fifth, you need to stop with the allegations that only unwed whores are getting pregnant by accident. Married women have abortions, too, as do women or girls who have only had sex one time.
Sixth, providing affordable access to birth control is the best way to prevent abortion, yet you are against this as well. Hypocritical much? Many insurance programs do not pay for birth control (yet they will pay for Viagra).

Let me start by saying that no one wishes anyone will die, that is the purpose of being pro-life.
But think of it in the reverse, just for a second, the baby has no fault of what has happened to the mother, no fault for the reason for the pregnancy. So why should the baby, unborn or not be held at fault, murdered, killed, because the mother got pregnant.
I find it ironic that a person knowing full and well what they are getting into by having sex, have just up and think it is ok to kill what came from that moment because of any reason.
I have seen both sides, I have supported a young woman who stayed in our home, because she couldn't have the baby and was considering abortion, she hasn't to this day stopped thanking me. I also have a friend who opted for the abortion and to this day regrets it to the point that it is the source of her depression. I have yet to meet someone who has had an abortion that after the years has not regretted it.
But lets take it one step further, you and I are here because that decision was not made for us, why should anyone not be here because someone decided they weren't person enough, they were just a fetus. By the way so where you and I.
There are many families without children that would die, and literally I might add, to have their own child, and would adopt in a heart beat if the legality of it wasn't so expensive.
I hope this has helped you see why I as an antiabortionist see this as a problem.
I dont judge anyone for choices they make, that is up to God and Him alone. I just know that if we continue to blindly let this abomination continue then we are only hurting ourselves.
God bless and have a great day.

I make this point a lot when discussing this.
Anti-choice types think they're doing the right thing, but they've lost contact with the reality of the lives with which they're interfering. They've turned their opposition into a fetish. They've decided that every fetus must come to term no matter what, no exceptions; and in doing so they've forgotten that they were originally trying to defend the sanctity of life. The nuttiest among them even refuse to allow that abortion may be justified in instances in which the life of the mother is at stake.
From a purely pragmatic POV, abortion will happen regardless. As long as women get pregnant, there will always be desperate women willing to break the law and submit themselves to back alley procedures because they simply cannot support a child. Meanwhile the wealthy and privileged will always have access to "professionals." If one of the Bush twins (e.g.) found herself in an awkward situation, she'd be flown out of the country and you'd never hear a word about it.
Nobody can defend abortion from a moral POV. I personally find it reprehensible. And I can honestly understand why "pro-lifers" feel such a sense of urgency, and how they've set themselves up in their own minds as defenders of the defenseless. But even abortion is not so black-and-white.
I honestly believe that a lot of the controversy stems from the fact that these women had sex, and our country is full of sexually neurotic puritans. Look at the responses - "She had sex, she knew what she was getting into" - well, true, but accidents happen, especially to economically depressed people. It might also help if we actually thought it worthwhile to teach our kids about safer sex rather than abstinence only, because we've decided sex is immoral in itself.

Armed robbery will occur, whether legal or not. Street drug sales will occur, whether legal or not. Anti-robbery, anti-drug forces just want to make it as unsafe as possible? Prior to the legalization of killing unborn children, maybe a hundred women a year died as a result of botched back alley abortions. Today at least a hundred women a year die from the effects of botched "safe legal" abortions, and tens of thousands of others suffer permanent physical and mental trauma. Hardly a surprise since abortuaries, unlike legitimate medical facilities, are completely unregulated and have no followup for women who bleed uncontrollably or develop life-threatening infections after going home. They just tell the woman to go to the emergency room. By the time they do, if they do, it is often too late to prevent permanent damage including sterilization. This is all in addition to the fact that millions of innocent children are violently slaughtered every year for the convenience of their mothers, or for the convenience of their fathers who force the mothers to get an abortion so they can continue to use women as playthings without accepting any responsibility. Curious that feminist groups want to provide such men the means of abusing women so freely.

There is always somebody who does not care about the legality of an action and will do it anyways. Does that mean that nothing should be illegal? Certainly not. The hope is that if abortion is legal, maybe people will think about their actions before hopping in bed with every stranger they meet at the bar and then using abortion as a form of birth control.

I am one of those so-called "anti-abortionists", and I would never want a woman to do something harmful to themselves or unsafe to themselves. Just because I don't think abortion is right doesn't mean that I don't care about the women getting unsafe abortions.
I believe that God made each baby special and that he has a great plan for their life. The person that could have curred HIV could have been aborted. Some women who are sleeping around when they know they shouldn't be, because God wants us to save sex for marriage, are having abortions left and right. They are saying that they don't have money to care for it or they have other things in life they want to do, but the truth is they aren't ready and they're not responsible enough. If you're not responsible enough to care for the baby then you are definitely should not be sleeping around.
I don't want unsafe abortions to happen, but there aren't many plans to stop it. President George Bush is doing his best to try to stop it and I support him fully. I don't want any woman to die. That's a horrible hope for someone. Babies are precious and shouldn't be killed because of irresponsible teens having sex with multiple partners!!

Pro-Life is for life from when the sperm leaves the man's genitals until the last breath.
Further we desire "Quality" life. So, you've got a picture of a woman who's hell bent (pun intended) on ending her hell on earth of a unwanted baby. The heart of the issue isn't "How to kill the unwanted baby" ... but how can we help her out of the situation ... how can we make her life better so she can nurture this child like she's never been nurtured herself?
Abortion happens because:
1) Lack of self love
2) The partner doesn't show love.
3) The supporting family (her parents, his parents) don't show love.
4) The friends don't support the baby.
5) Society doesn't show love: social services.
It should be noted that to help the women we need to start with her, and work down the list. Why was she having sex without love, trust, and hope for the future??? How do we teach her and her partner that sex is more than physical pleasure? Then how do we teach them to form a family for the child's sake ... how do her parents & his parents hold responsability (financially, mentally, & spiritually) ... how do we teach his & her peers not to sing "Mary had a little lamb" ... when ALL ELSE fails (last resort), what can we as a community provide to this family that's challenged (Woman's shelters, housing assistance, food stamps)?

You're making ad hominim attacks against people you don't know - much less understand.
What you're stating as fact is so far off base as to be laughable if the subject were not so serious.
Where do you think all these doctors, clinics and hospitals have come from? Why are they there? Why do you think birthdays are celebrated?
Whoever you've been listening to or reading is making you sound like an idiot. I hope you're not. Do some research.
Start with the phrase, "Pro Life." Could be that it means just what it says.
People who act out of desperation when the situation is not desperate have been ill-informed or are ignorant of their options - that ignorance is curable. When there IS a desperate situation, there are measures in place within the medical and social communities to safely resolve it.

Now you are spreading misinformation and half truths.
First of all, how does making something legal automatically make that thing safe?
Pro-abortion supporters seem to block ever suggested law that might regulate abortion providers, based on the premise that restricting abortion in any way makes it harder for a women to get an abortion. I'm sorry, but if you want something to be safe, then you have to put up with some inconvenient rules for you own safety (Like requiring everyone who works at a clinic to be certified in an appropriate medical field, or requiring parental notification & consent, for example.).
It seems that most pro-choice people are mainly interested in making abortion convenient & easy; safety is an afterthough, if they think about it at all.
Second of all, the government currently has programs in place to pay for the medical bills of mothers who qualify; it is called "welfare". And many churches currently run " crisis pregnancy centers ", and would probably continue to do so even if the law were changed.
