Especially, how many unwanted children have you adopted...those with special needs, etc...

Wouldn't you accomplish more if you took the time, energy and money that you spend protesting abortion clinics, and actually adopted an unwanted child?

I guess it is easier to hold a sign, then to provide care to these children. WWJD?

Women were throwing themselves down stairs and going to back-street abortionists long before Roe vs. Wade.

Rich people went elsewhere to get a medical abortion.

Reverse Roe vs. Wade and force abortionists to practice other forms of medicine and we go back to the old fashioned way of ridding ourselves of a fetus.

Happy now that women are risking their lives to get rid of a fetus? Happy to see pregnant teens in a dirty back room with some guy and a coat hanger?

Or do you have some fool-proof plan for ensuring every pregnancy reaches term?

Is white rock lake haunted? Because my friend told me that it is haunted, because she lives in mansion near by and she said that she heard some noises, like screams and cries.I do believe ghost but not that much,I know that it is not ture but still.Last year we went to white rock lake with my cousins,and we saw this big humegous mansion It had blue windows and we could see an showdow of a person,but that place was impossiable for person to live because there were chains around the house with construction cars.That house was really creapy.Is White Rock Lake really haunted.

Have you ever been in a situation (the perpetrator or the victim) where racism was alleged wrongfully by someone from a minority. I am brown and one of my friends often brings up the issue at the slightest insult or innuendo by any white folk. Makes me think.

it states in the bible to be submissive to your hubbys , how do you feel about the whole thing? i personally feel good about it, god made it that way and ....i have no problem with being submissive to my hubby i trust and love him very much, i do admitt some men take it to the extreme, but its not suppose to be like that, how do u feel?

I have a co-worker who typically wears way too much cologne. You can smell the cologne for at least 5 minutes after the guy has left the room. He leaves a cologne trail wherever he goes. Not only is it smelly, it makes my eyes burn and it makes me sneeze like crazy. That said, he's a _really nice_ guy, and I know it would embarrass him terribly if someone addressed him directly and asked him to tone down the cologne.
What is the proper way to handle it? I'm thinking of asking my friend in HR if there is a policy on scents in the office (i.e. no candles, no incense, etc.), and if so, asking her to send a polite email to employees just to reiterate the scent policy. We have more than this one person going a bit overboard with cologne/perfume/strong-smelling lotion/etc. I just notice this person because he's on my team and I work with him daily.
Any ideas?

My church (non-denominational) has started this new thing. On Sunday everyone who is tithing is asked to come up and be prayed for. After then the one's who are paying offerings are asked to come up and be prayed for. To me this is the most rediculus thing I have ever heard of. First off, what a public specticle. Look at me, I am tithing preacher, like me. Then offerings, same thing. So I have decided to take an empty envelope up there just to prove a point. I only pay tithes once a month cause I only get a check once a month.So since I don't have tithes to pay every sunday I guess I don't get prayed for but once a month. How rediculous. I am ready to leave this church. Some one in the church sugessted this since his uncle does this in his church and he has money. What do you think about this den of theives. The leaders of this congregation clains to be people of intregrety but now I am not sure any more. It seems everywhere you go preachers are not to be trusted. I'll just stay home.

supposedly, before god flooded the earth, people lived to be in their 900's. but the skeletal remains of early cro-magnons and the FIRST humans indicate that people lived to be on average in their 20's when they died. you may think, "the remains of the humans that lived 900-1000 years were wiped out in the flood", but things like dinosaurs, etc. were here long before humans EVER existed. what am i missing???
