1. switching gender roles rarely works for long.
2. men that stay home, can never seem to do the housework correctly, even after being shown how multiple times, I suspect this is on purpose, so the woman ends up coming home from work and having to the housework herself. Why does she need a husband in this case?
3. I think that in so far as they are physically able a woman can do any job a man can do, and probably do it better.
4. In the same job, no woman makes more than a man in that job, this has been true forever and shows no evidence of changing.
5. This is not true in the corporate world, most women now that are bosses are that because they got fed up with corporate business and started their own businesses.
6. Self confidence and independance is not based on gender, it is based on how you were raised and the circumstances of your life.
7. Changing gender roles is not a good idea for men, it often results in women realizing they can do without men.

Hi I'm female, 23 and British.
1) I think that it's fine to change the roles between genders, whatever works best for people.
2) I think if a man wants to stay at home and a woman wants to go to work then that's normal. Maybe not a few decades ago but now people can do whatever feels right for them. Some women can make horrible housewives but are very good in a workplace. It depends on the person.
3) I think it's normal for women and men to do the same jobs, especially if it's a job they love.
4)I think there shouldn't be a difference in genders and rates of pay, I mean a mans salary and a woman's salary should be the same if they are doing the same job.
5) I think the reason there are more women bosses is because nowadays women have an equal chance to ascend in a business, compared to say, the 1970s when it was very rare that a woman would be any more than a secretary.
6) I don't think any gender is any more or less self-confident or independent because it depends on the individual person. Some people are very confident where as others are not.
7) I think if more people and more cultures could see both genders as being equal then there would be a lot less discrimination in the world today.

Hope that helped!
