It has been around for much longer than any other form of organized music and will still be for much longer. Just because some of the younger generation dont consider it as a good musical source, there are yet still even among the youth those who prefer it over contemporary music, maybe the question should be how long is contemporary music going to last before reverting back to classical.

Absolutely. Not only is it beautiful music, but it is very instructional. Many of these works are timeless.
A larger category might be orchestral works. Some consider this classical music. There will always be a call for such in movies and theatre. I don't see it ever disappearing; but it may change over time.

Of course it does! I presume that, by "classical", you mean works of music composed for orchestra, band, choir, or other ensemble that does not include pop, rock, and so on. Composers are presently and always have been active in this genre; it's not dead by any stretch. The "classics" of music (works by Mozart, Bach, Wagner, etc.) will also continue to be well-known and well-loved, I think. No one, for example, would think of stuffing the Mona Lisa in a warehouse to gather dust. It has great aesthetic and historic value, and so it continues to be a work of art that people travel from around the world to see. The same is true of great works of music; they will always have appreciative ears to listen to them.

It is coming back. Hopefully, (since you have put this question in the Religion category) spiritual music will demand better talent than we have seen in past decades. I cannot figure how people can equate banal elevator music, which uses no talent, with the great religious masterpieces written in praise of God that are in the realm of classical music.

It's long durability suggests it has sufficient momentum to exist well beyond most contemporary music.
Will today's Rock stars be listened to 100 years from now, or will they be replaced by the popular music of the time? Some will; most won't.
Mozart, et al will still be around.
