when i watch movies or show about the mafia in NYC or NJ the mobsters usually have lots of cash all the time and a nice big house and example is the sopranos, or if you have seen the show growing up gotti they are loaded. but i know those guys are the dons so what do the lower level guys get paid?

Isn't this how alot of people will feel when the realization of the truth of Christianity is revealed to them on the last day? I mean they will see how it was put before them at every turn and they just chose to ignore it.

1 Peter 2:12 says "Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world." (NLT)

How are your thoughts, actions, behaviors, comments and reactions living out this verse? If you are not a Christian, would seing a Christian living out what they believe by caring for widows and orphans and those who cannot care for themselves change the way you feel towards them?

My point to fellow Christians is that there's nothing more powerful than living out what you believe with grace and humility. Let's remember that when we response to others!

does any person out there who isn't an insecure egomaniac want anyone or anything for that matter to worship him or her? i'm thinking about some of the responses i might get already, and i have a feeling some might have something to do with pets. but to be honest i can't really say i'd even want a pet to worship me. i'd like some level of obedience from a pet, but that's not the same as worship, is it. i mean as long as i don't get bit by a rabid animal i'm usually cool with whatever they do.

CRUISE: I've never agreed with psychiatry, ever. Before I was a Scientologist I never agreed with psychiatry. And when i started studying the history of psychiatry, I understood more and more why I didn't believe in psychology.

Here we are today where I talk out against drugs and psychiatric abuses of electric shocking people, okay, against their will, of drugging children with them not knowing the effects of these drugs. Do you know what Aderol is? Do you know Ritalin? Do you know now that Ritalin is a street drug? Do you understand that?

TOM CRUISE: No, you see. Here's the problem. You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do.

TOM CRUISE: All it does is mask the problem, Matt. And if you understand the history of it, it masks the problem. That's what it does. That's all it does. You're not getting to the reason why. There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance.

Conception happens in a test tube. Out of a dozen fertilized eggs, they implant one and "murder" the rest. So why do Christians go to fertility clinics where they "murder" all those innocent souls?

My family and I just bought a new home about two weeks ago. Starting about a week and a half ago our neighbors have been having band practice or something EVERY night and day in a garage building in their backyard. It is so loud that it sounds like a concert going on next door. This goes on until almost midnight. We did not want to call the police since we just moved into the neighborhood and we just didnt want to cause problems but when we have tried to knock and ask them about it they do not open the door, so we wrote a note ( a very nice one) and put it on their door, but they still are playing so loud. What would you do in this situation...should we just go ahead and call the police? Thanks for any help!
