& part of the family of God?

Who is your new man in Christ?

It is written in John 15:15 a friend of Christ.

Benjamin, Pardon the 'J'. Just read Isaiah 53. That was written many years before it came to past.

Hebrew Ys were eventually translated to Js. And in Greek, who didn't have Ys, used Is. & the Is then changed to Js. Jesus is really Yeshua or Yehoshua. Meaning Savior. So, that is who Jesus is, Savior.

reservation raised, In the early church some were filled with the Holy Spirit, with signs of praising God in tongues & prophecying. The question then is why not baptize them in water. God has already baptized them in the Holy Spirit. So, to be born of God one needs to act out in faith by confessing Jesus Christ Lord & Savior and believing in heart He raised from the dead. See, faith with out works (act of reaching for God & confessing) and works without faith is dead. You need to do both to be born of God. Same as healing. You can believe God will heal you, but until you act out & receive the healing (like walking w/crippled legs when God tells you to) the healing doesn't manifest. In the act of receiving, the healing manifest.

Yeah, but you gotta do two things first before you can become a part of the family of God. Every person has to repent (want change and allow change from God to take place), next you gotta be baptized in Jesus name for the remission (taking away) of your sins. Then and only then does God "promise" to give you his Spirit in the Holy Ghost. Read the book of Acts.

No the word of God does not say to accept the Lord as your personal savior but it is, I admit, the smallest part of the beginnig of repentence.

And yes the word of God says if you call on the name of the Lord you'll be saved but that scripture is in the new testament, after the book of Acts, after the one and only true church was begun. Read the beginning of each of the books after the book of Acts.....it says to the Church in.......! Don't miss Jesus' plan of salvation.....read the bible for yourself to believe what it says. Watch out for man's deceiving words through their own understanding and vain philosophies/deceits.

John 15:15

15 I no longer call you servants, because servants do not know their master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Amen.

He's a Friend we can always call on.

Well..."born of god" thats kinda vague...the word itself is non specific..and is a germaic pagan word..instituted by the german protestant martin luther after his break from roman catholicism...in which the term was Je hovan (mischief) an erroneous transliteration of the devine name . "his son" jezuz is also a false teaching springing from roman catholosism...Hebrews of anient times did not use the letter J nor would they name thier children after pagan idols je zus is iosues or "son or zeuss" it is not an english form of "joshua"....or it would have said "jshua".....so therefore His blood is of little or no effect considering he did not exist. True salvation comes from faith in our creator and obedience to Him alone...not a devided worship of threee non existant characters...read isaih 43:11 and see what it says....there is no "old" testament the testament is still good and everlasting...this "new " test of men is what we must avoid.
