Some "true" scary stories to tell are about The Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana, The Bell Witch, The Mothman and The Brown Mountain Lights in NC. Those have lots of info on them if you wanted to look them up. The stories about the Myrtles are especially creepy to me.

That my Mother-In-Law is coming for a visit. That's the scariest thing I can think of. (LOL)
Seriously though, if you really want a scary story, please tell your Sister about "The Jersey Devil" and/or "The Bell Witch" - both can be traced back several hundred years (and are still going strong) and can be found on the Internet. By the way, "The Jersey Devil" is why the Jersey Devils Hockey Team is named as it is.
Have a lovely rest of the day.

theres this ohne guy who moves into an apartment with his mother, across the street is a cemetary. he was warned by his mother never to go there, but he does. he wondered a round and saw a grave stone with his name on it, he tipped it over, that night his bed shakes and he is pulled out fromthe bed, this becomes worse and worse, things are flung at him and his mother. the go to the neighbors across the hallway in the apartment, the man is a football coach, he takes is team in the haunted room and stays there for the night, the next morning the team runs down the street to their home and the man comes back to the boy and his mother with a scared face and says something is in there, they call someone in and she says the person is angry. the boy picks up his courage and rights the stone and says hes sorry, he was just scared because thats his name too, he runs out of the cemetary and nothing bad happens...but then the man next door dies and he haunts their place,

when my aunt and uncle first got married, before they had kids,..(my cousins)..they playfully took a trip to Durand Park,in Rochester NY ,were we live.theres a place called the "WHITE ladies castle.it;s a broken down old place,..with nothing left but the crumbled foundation, and legend has it if you go there with your lover,..she will appear,..in a long white dress.so my aunt and uncle were walking along the big block foundation of the site..just for kicks and giggles as many couples do.my uncle was on the foundation still, walking beside my aunt,..about 2 feet higher then her..all of a sudden..something shoved my uncle off the foundation and he went flying and landed on the ground about 3 feet away,.and the lady appeared and circled around the both of them gesturing amusement,...shook her finger as in tsk tsk tsk..and flew of..into the main road..as a car went right thrugh her...they were scared $hitless....he broke his leg.ive heard of many other encounters with the white ladie,..walking down the road,or standing in front of them while driving causing numerous car accdents and spin offs....and to think this place is 25 minutes away from me......

I like skinwalker stories. Just so you know, a skinwalker is a Native American shape shifter/witch, a real baddie.
Just type in skinwalker and you will find tons of stories. Around my neck of the woods, everyone has a good skinwalker story.

Scariest story? Bush was re-elected, and he has the power to postpone and even stop elections while we are at war, pretty damned terrifying to me.
