Tom, hating his wife and wanting her dead, puts poison in her coffee, thereby killing her. Joe also hates his wife and would like her dead. One day, Joe's wife accidentally puts poison in her coffee, thinking it's cream. Joe has the antidote, but he does not give it to her. Knowing that he is the only one who can save her, he lets her die. Is Joe's failure to act as bad as Tom's action?

the point in moral (same thing as an ethical dilemma I might add) dilemma exercises is to decide based on the choices you have. You cannot make up other possible choices, they do not exist and nothing else is possible. They are designed so that you are forced to challenge your morals and make a decision on "what would you do."

I went to this atheist website and found out that christians made that up in the bible!
Fellow brothers and sisters in the lord, its time to pick and choose what we should follow in the bible.
Man has added all the phrases about homos in the bible.
So, you need to start ignoring those verses and only accept that god loves homos!
I demand that you listen to me.
I know the truth!
God told me you will burn in the lake of fire for saying homsexuality is a sin.
Repent brothers.
Repent now!
God is love!

Do human beings exist to serve God because without Him they would not exist?

Do you share my belief that many, perhaps most of the young men and women who participate here are far from being representative of today's teenagers in the United States? I am five times a grandfather, and my grands, every one, are bright, quick, truthful, imaginative, independent, and respectful toward their grandfather. So, while meandering about here, I must constantly reaffirm in my mind that it's my grands in California and not the seemingly hopeless, frustrated, disrespectful, pain-stricken, confused, semi-literate, and perverse young people here who are the centerpiece in our Nation's future. And you?

You are 23 and just finished college while working full-time to pay your way. You had moved from several hundred miles away to attend this college, and since moving have established yourself in a good job, made several friends, and come enjoy the area.

You have a girlfriend back home whom you have dated for about a year and a half. You have been utterly miserable with the relationship for several months, but the fact that it is long-distance has made it tolerable because you only have to see her once or twice a month and you stay busy with school and work all the other time.

Before you graduate, she realizes that the relationship is going sour and that you don't plan on moving back after finishing. She decides to stop taking her birth control and becomes pregnant in an effort to make you move back home and get married.

What do you do? Marry her and try to make it work? Don't marry her but take responsibility for the child? Does she move up there with you or do you go back to her?

Firstly I am not saying that religion is bad or good my personal opinion doesn't matter.
Secondly if you think all religion is bad please try to think which one you dislike most.
Thirdly if you don't dislike any religion please don't put down an answer.
If you choose christianity please specify catholic or protestant.
Lastly you can put why you hate it, but always put the name of the religion first.

I dont have a clue what real witchcraft is. I dont know the difference between a witch or wicca, or if they are the same thing. I can make things happen sometimes. With my mind. I am not sure if i am or not, so if you could either(a) tell me how i can tell or test if i have powers or if im a wicca or witch. (b) email me if you dont want to post it. I am very serious. Also I know many of you would say, how could you not know. I am young, and my birthday is later this month. If you have any interest and you are serious, please help.

I asked a question about the achievements of science and the achievements of religion. I am an atheist. Most of the answers that I got were that science is only half of the big picture. They told me that to live a full life, you have to have religion and science split up 50-50 to live a full life. However, I do not believe in God and I completely lack superstition. If superstition is half of the big picture, then I am glad I am missing out on half of my life. Many of them claimed that the Bible answers questions that science cannot, like what is the purpose of life. I think the Bible is wrong. I think there is no purpose to life and I think we are all an accident. Now here's my questions.
1) Why are my ideas so scary to religious people?
2) Why do they so fanatically try to change my beliefs?
3) I leave you alone, why can't you leave me alone?

I am at a point in my life that I need solid answers and reasoning for the things that go on in my life. After just graduating from college I sat back and reviewed all those people who have fornicated, committe adultery, became fake pastors and so forth and I have watched them advance like no one I have ever seen before. I have watch girls sleep with anything and vice versa, and still get good jobs, be loved and have the whole universe in their possession. But then there are people like me. Follow the "Good Book" rule of helping out thy neighbor and keeping on a straight and narrow path...and I have not prospered yet. Now I may only be 22 but I know that faith can only lead you so far. So I put a little action into it. And guess what. I am still no where. I got good grades, virgin girl looking to prosper. I don't see how an all love God can be all loving, when the very thing he instructed you to do gets you know where. Beside Christianity, what are some other alternate religions?

If God is the supreme creator, Alpha and Omega, beginning and end, who was at God's beginning?

I once heard a quote "As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become." This leads me to belive that God was a man. And so someone created him. Who was that? Shed some light religious gurus.

Why would a person 60 years of age wear dark sunglasses. It isn't for fashion, or to be different, but why? You can't even see her eyes, that the glasses are black.

She is the only one in the congregation who does so, and I attend many different masses and churches and haven't seen anyone who wears glasses like this.

Well I went to my uncles house one day to finish up my project, and I stayed overnight. I was in their guest room when I slowly fell asleep (well, I wasn't "asleep", I was still in the phase of being half-asleep and half-awake). I was on my left side when all of a sudden my eyes opened wide awake, and my body started to become stiff. Then I heard whispers all around me, and the room turned dark, to a hue of red, and then back to darkness (it repeated this around 5 times). I couldn't even speak, and after about 10 seconds, I was free/my normal self. I then ran out of the room like hell and couldn't sleep the whole night. Can someone please tell me what happened? Because I believe that I was almost possessed or something (I assure you this ain't a joke...)
