Of course the married ones live longer because they are taken care of. As a wife and mother it seems most women do it all. The single men seem to get more headaches because they want to stay single and women want to tie them down. What the women don't know is after they marry the man they will be the ones to eventually feel tied down. HA

Not so sure...
I guess it depends on how men are happily married and how many are miserable....
Some married men have stress trying to provide for their family. Especially when they have an insensitive nagging wife. And a cold relationship with his family...some men are plagued with this. And can't possibly be healthy for them.
Then there are men that can get good jobs, and keep a close relationship with their family. Not to mention the money his wife makes which doubles the family income. Oh and to be able to afford better health. It think it's those men that live longer. Being the moral compass of the family. :) Basically men that are really good at being men. (in a good way)

Actually, men that are married do live longer by ten years than single guys. We just learned this in our Psychology class. Women make the guys live healthier and go to doctors more frequently.

I tend to believe they do live longer. Hopefully because they are better cared for and more loved....As far as the single men, there must be a pretty good reason why their ALL alone...

Yes they do, the longer the wife lives the longer the husband lives usually as well.

Maybe with continous nagging "it seems LONGER " Oh, now there's an original joke. Ha ha. My uncle shot an elephant in his pajamas. The real reason is because there's someone who actually cares whether the guy is alive or dead. Bachelors don't have that reassurance.

Yah, thats what the researchers are saying lately. I don't know how far is this relevant coz I actually thought the other way round.
