Firstly I am not saying that religion is bad or good my personal opinion doesn't matter.
Secondly if you think all religion is bad please try to think which one you dislike most.
Thirdly if you don't dislike any religion please don't put down an answer.
If you choose christianity please specify catholic or protestant.
Lastly you can put why you hate it, but always put the name of the religion first.

This is a pretty inflammatory subject - you should know better than to ask this. All you will do is stir up feelings of hatred.
There is NO worst religion. Religion is something that people use to cope with their lives. They each follow a set of tenets from religious writings that allows them to function, especially within difficult circumstances.
If individuals within each of those religions choose to re-interpret their religious writings and employ inflammatory or violent means to force their religion onto others then that is a separate issue.
Religion itself is not "wrong", it's what's done in the name of a religion that can be considered wrong.
Just as "Money" isn't the root of all evil... it's the 'LOVE OF MONEY' that is considered the root of all evil.

All religions are good if they teach peace love and tolerance for others. Anyone of them can become bad if hatred becomes part of the beliefs, or fanatics who claim to be inciting war in the name of their chosen faith.. Christianity, if understood personally and not taken literally seems to be the one I can relate most to. Being brought up quite Catholic, that is the one I find can be most destructive if taken too literally. The word has faults as it was man made, but the message is actually simple, have faith in your beliefs. My beliefs do not come from the word, but by what I think the word means.

The trinity is flawed epistimology & christianity is a hodge podge of many ancient religions, but they at least changed the personality of their God from an ancient War Lord with delusions of adequacy to a deity that could at times be reasonable. Protestantism is one of the forces that forced a Catholic reform.
Judism was an extremist form of racism that basically thought all non Jews were to be exterminated, but has shown an ability to evolve, reform & co-exist with the rest of the World, in spite of some of the more radical orthadox sects.
Islam was spread by intollerance, tribal warlords & the sword & has shown no signs of change.
Buddahist really don't have a religion in most cases, but some sects do teach reincarnation. By & large it is a philosophy of living one's life.
Hindu's have so many Gods that it is doubtful anyone knows all of them, anyway I don't. However they use many of the same extreme methods practiced by Islam.
Animalists have a varied set of beliefs that change from tribe to tribe, but they have little or no chance of expanding.
I think Islam is the worst religion, becuse they will kill you for drawing a picture of Mohammad or mentioning that you think they are a violent group. Not only that, they think all others should accept Sharia law & submit to Dhimmism (a non Muslim allowed to live under Sharia law with fewer rights than a serf in 12 century Europe.) Islam has not reformed, nor will it ever.

Christianity is a pure Biblical belief not Catholic or CofE or whatever......If you study true Christianity it stands tall amongst its rival 'religions' as there is truth in it.
Can I suggest that anyone who has not attended an Alpha Course...seeks to get on one immediately as we are in what the Bible calls the 'End Times' and you need to know the truth before the end comes. The best way to do this is to go on a non-denominational course...the Alpha Course...and find out the truth for yourself...it is a no pressure course and you can drop out whenever you want but go on it please...for yourself..and God not me!!!

Islam.
It is the most violent religion in the world and it teaches its people to kill those who won't submit to its teaching.
Most of the violence in the world during the past 20 years has been because of Muslims who follow the religion called, Islam.
It also teaches that women are 2nd class people and when a women is raped, its always the woman's fault.
When a woman causes herself to be raped, the usual punishment for that woman is death, because she disgraced her family.
Keep in mind the previous paragraph is not what I believe, its what Islam teaches and its why I hate this religion so much.
It was founded by Satan himself.

I don't know about the "best" or "worst"...but violent and not so violent come to mind. It seems that Christianity and Islam fit the "violent" crowd fairly well while Buddhism and Hinduism tilt the scale on the more peaceful end.
But then again this would be a blanket generalization and does not apply to every individual.

i think the worst religion is the christian evangelicals in america. i find it really frightening in a country that promotes freedom and democracy.
i feel all religions have positive and negative aspects.
and the negative aspects can be quite horrific.
it would be easy to point the finger at the muslim religion
with the current world climate
but i feel that muslim extremism is more to do with the area, its history and its evolution, than the people themselves.

Islam is one of the best religon out there, I'm sorry for you guys who think it's all based upon violence, but it's really not. America is invading in all of the Islamic countries, so technically it's not there fault. All religons are equal, it isn't anyone's fault if someone does not follow their religon properly.
