why would christians (specifically) want to convert to Islam??

1. you are turning away from God who is LOVE (1 John), to allah who never said that he is love.

2. you are turning away from God who sent His Own Son to die for our sins and turning to allah who encourages other people's sons to die for Him in the name of jihad.

3. you are turning away from freedom in Christ to a constricted social order with so many rules that inhibit freedom and democracy.

4. you are turning from assurance of salvation by JESUS' sacrifice to not even sure of whether allah will burn you in hell, as according to the quran.

5. you are turning from God who calls you friends because of Jesus' death, to allah who calls you servants and subjects.

6. you are turning from God who CAME DOWN TO EARTH to be with us (Immanuel) to allah who sits on his throne in heaven, deceiving people to think that "jesus" was crucified.

why would christians (specifically) want to convert to Islam??

Ok just letting you guys know, I'm always the guy who sides with the scientific point of view, because, well, it's the truth. I don't believe in any religions, because to me tey were just ways for people to manifest power. Don't get me wrong, I believe religion is a wonderful thing. It guides a lot of people in life to do the morally correct thing. But, you can't disprove the basic laws of our universe. I have made it a few years just accepting my point of view, but recently I can't stop thinking about it. I sit up late at night for hours thinking about it. How did any of this start? I know we can prove the big bang by the still existing radiation traces, but what was before that? What caused the damn thing? What even is this? My whole being in my eyes has come into question. I just get so perplexed thinking about it. You cant deny science, but I can't seem to deny my quest for an answer either. So yahoo patrons, who wants to field this baby?

The latter is probably the more...wtf? of the two, but I think a woman wearing a man's button down shirt and a pair of boxers or underwear is just downright sexy.

go check every mirror in your house, whether is daytime or night time, and look closely into the mirror, u might have to squint your eyes a little, but yeah, bathroom dressing room, your room, living room, all the mirrors, check them, i heard that if you look closely into the mirrors, you would see a little star right in front where your eyeball is staring into, and then a white shadow of a human body would start to appear.
i nevjust heard of it three days ago, but is it true?

This customer was complaining to this poor woman for 10 minutes, and the drive thru was backed up with cars. The woman in the front was screaming, "I've been coming to this joint for 10 years and you still can't get my order right?!!" The cashier replies, "Maam, there are 10 cars right behind you". The lady says, "I'm first priority!"
This stupid broad was complaining over 50 cents. I felt like giving her the 50 cents so she could leave. I drove up to the window and told the cashier I hated that woman, and will follow her home and give her a piece of my cement pie.
The cashier replied with a smirk, "Thanks for understanding. You made my day."

Anybody experience this? Tell me your story in how you dealth with these stupid first priority rude customers.

A man walked into a police station and confessed to murdering a homeless woman. The police say he would have gotten away with the crime, but the man said he was recently saved and that Jesus Christ wanted him to confess.
The news media personalities on Fox news claimed this man could NOT be a Christian because a Christian wouldn't murder people. They mocked and ridiculed him, saying he was "foolish" for confessing.

Is he a Christian? if so, what makes him one? If not, why not?

Even in her deadth, the shadow still is lying over her live. Nobody, has ever portrait a more prominent view of someone in the Royals family than hers.
What I find outermost disgusting, are all these author's and book writers, that are so concerned about disecting the life of Princes Di. Why can't she just sleep in her peace and her deadth ? Why and how do these author's justify this situation?

I had never seen before. There crossing the road walking and blocking the traffic was a flock of vultures. There was about 30 to possibly 40 of them. They were all JET BLACK, of the same size and age, and seemed as calm as a flock of chickens in a barn yard.

This was so weird. These were wild vultures and I have never even seen more than a pair together, EVER.

Does this mean we are headed toward an end times event ?

Are the vultures flocking together getting ready to feast on huge amounts of dead flesh (namely weuns) ?

When wild vultures flock together and calmly walk across a downtown four lane city street like a bunch of tame pet chickens, something seems very wrong with the world.

( Yes I was stone sober, not on drugs, not tired, and it was just after high noon )

commints ?

There is a lot of divorce even amongst christians, there are people I know that have no need for church lived together and haved sex before marriage and have good marraiges and there are people in the church who have these whirlwind courtships of romance and fanfare and now are miserable and divoced. Do you think people who are virgins and get married have more of a fighting chance for a good marraige? Are the statisics true that non christians have as much divorce as christians, or do you think it depends on the person and how commited they are to thier spouse?

1. is it because God's "clean" presence in contained in the book itself?

2. or just because you dont want to dirty the quran?

for christians, the Bible is the Word of God. but it is just a book made from papers. the Word becomes holy and powerful when we keep it in our hearts and live the Word out with our lives. so we are not concerned with the physical, but with the spiritual we are.

I was in the 6th grade when WWJD became such a huge thing. I remember even writing a poem about it. The bracelets, tshirts, bumper stickers, pencils, keychains..etc etc. Of course it's still going on strong today, but it seemed like it was just everywhere those 8 years ago.

But what does asking What Would Jesus Do achieve? Does anyone know what Jesus would have done, truly? lol.

I work in a multicultural environment in which people from all over (Africa, African-American, Guyanese, Jamaican, Hati, and European) work. Recently I was telling a story about a person from Denmark who has a very dark skin but now lives in America. I described them as "black," and an African-American person corrected me and told me to say African-American. This person I was talking about is not African, and not American. I was in the company of people actually from Africa, and they didn't know what to refer to them as either (they themselves call people Black-Americans and are offended when people refer to them as African American). How would I describe someone who is of darker skin/African descent and from Europe in a politically correct manner. And what do we call white people these days?
