I had never seen before. There crossing the road walking and blocking the traffic was a flock of vultures. There was about 30 to possibly 40 of them. They were all JET BLACK, of the same size and age, and seemed as calm as a flock of chickens in a barn yard.

This was so weird. These were wild vultures and I have never even seen more than a pair together, EVER.

Does this mean we are headed toward an end times event ?

Are the vultures flocking together getting ready to feast on huge amounts of dead flesh (namely weuns) ?

When wild vultures flock together and calmly walk across a downtown four lane city street like a bunch of tame pet chickens, something seems very wrong with the world.

( Yes I was stone sober, not on drugs, not tired, and it was just after high noon )

commints ?

IT WAS NOT A ROAD KILL EVENT. THEY WERE CROSSING THE ROAD NOT GOING TO WENDY'S.

THEY WERE WALKING NOT GATHERED AROUND THE CARCASS OF A DINOSAUR

You may ask this question in a different category. Which ever one might have an explanation or knowledge of animal behavior.

Knowing why they would do this might help you with this.

It doesn't seem natural that 30-40 are walking but then and I'm not a expert on vultures.

This is a good question. I have heard speculated although I don't know of a place in the Bible that would agree. That God is increasing the numbers of scavengers to consume the number of dead flesh that is about to be on this earth.

I know in a neighboring town in my home state in the fall the turkey vultures will gather on a certain mountain 100-200 at a time usually flying over the top. It is common here in this state to see as many as 12 at a time gathered in dead trees over a carcass. I don't really have an answer but I do think this is interesting.

More than likely it was just a bunch of vultures looking for a place to go.

Do not look for signs in this too hard for there isn't anything unnatural or supernatural about of a flock of vultures.....

When God sends signs we know the meaning of it right away that is unless we miss it completely. Either way we will either see and know the sign or it's life as usual.

No, Christ, they're not going 35. 55 is the new 35 - still aggravatingly slow. And it's somebody in their 30s or 40s driving a g/d prius and they're only doing 55 until you try to pass them on the right, then they'll go 80 just to prove that they saw you in the mirror all that time. Yes, my commute is literally the road to hell.
