why would christians (specifically) want to convert to Islam??
1. you are turning away from God who is LOVE (1 John), to allah who never said that he is love.
2. you are turning away from God who sent His Own Son to die for our sins and turning to allah who encourages other people's sons to die for Him in the name of jihad.
3. you are turning away from freedom in Christ to a constricted social order with so many rules that inhibit freedom and democracy.
4. you are turning from assurance of salvation by JESUS' sacrifice to not even sure of whether allah will burn you in hell, as according to the quran.
5. you are turning from God who calls you friends because of Jesus' death, to allah who calls you servants and subjects.
6. you are turning from God who CAME DOWN TO EARTH to be with us (Immanuel) to allah who sits on his throne in heaven, deceiving people to think that "jesus" was crucified.
why would christians (specifically) want to convert to Islam??

FEZ, this is especially for you.
1.in the Bible God is LOVE. HE IS. the full expression of Love. Allah is only "most loving" but he is NOT the complete full version of love. and how many times does the quran talk about love, which this world needs so desperately? Jesus talked about loving our enemies and praying for them in the Bible!
2. there is a need for Jesus to die for our place. why? because BY OUR GOOD WORKS, our own merits, we will NEVER be sinless in a sinful world. and if we contain sin, we wil NEVER reach heaven's standard of perfection. we will all be condemned to hell.
3.freedom in Islam? women not allowed to work, women can be beaten up in Islam, relatives killed if found renouncing Islam? women raped must find 4 WITNESSES to prove it?? no democracy and freedom of religion choice?
4.there is what makes christianity different from othe rrelligions! because Jesus did DIE for us! He was willing to the end.thats y we have assurance!

5. allah's relationship to a muslim is : A KING TO A SERVANT. i say this, you submit. if you do not, you ought to be punished. Christ's relationship to a christian: a friend, yet a King, a Father, yet loving us and yearns a relationship with us! if we disobeys, He will not compel us! He will be faithful and patient!
6. well to me as a christian, if allah sits on the throne and refuses to come down to earth, to me, he is some preetty proud god then! the Bible says my Lord humbledHiMSELF to the cross.
7. early christian references tells us that Jesus was worshipped as God. thomas said, "my Lord and my God!" even the jewish prophets wanted to stone Jesus, because Jesus made Himself equal to God! and He is! He said, "before abraham was, I AM."

If and when, a "Christian" converts over to Islam, that can be attributed to the fact that he or she never was drawn to the Father [God] ... see John, 6th chapter, verse 44. In other words, if God the Father hasn't drawn you to Himself through the Holy Spirit - you were never a "Christian". This is not to be mistaken as I'm saying that "drawn" Christians are special or above other people - but "called" to have a relationship with the Father. Christians hear His [Jesus's] voice not the voice of Islam.

1. God is love in islam. One of his names is al-wadud...it means The most loving, the most affectionate, the beloved, the loving kindness, ...and much much more
2. We don't believe in original sin nor the need for blood sacrifice. God says he will judge us when we die (he said this in the bible too) why would he lie and not keep his promise? Also, remember the bible says, 'there is a time for war and a time for peace'...plus jihad is more than war like you keep hearing on tv
3. We gain freedom from following rules. Maybe you should study the philosopher Roussou. Plus, are rules are much simpler than the rules the Jews had to follow and considering most Christians follow no rules we are on the middle path...
4. There is no assurance for salvation because Christ did not die for our sins. You are not sure what will happen to you. You only believe that you will go to heaven. You have no real proof. We are not allowed to say either way because we are not God. What hipocricy it is to claim one would know!
5. You say lord, don't you? Do you know what you would be to a lord? A servant and subject. God is the MOST HIGH. When I was a Christian we called ourselves Servants of God too. Many Christians do that. God is closer to me than my jugular vein.
6. So you admit allah (arabic for God) sits on His throne in heaven then? God had no need to come down to earth to be with us. God is always with me.God was testing ppl. Why would ppl think that God would allow them to kill a prophet.
Why would....because we found the truth in Islam, the complete truth. We have seen the light. Although Christianity may contain some truths it is not the complete truth and this is what we believe and follow.
yes, 600 years...during those 600 years ppl had already changed the word of God...it wasn't until about 300 years after Jesus' time that they decided on the trinity and his supposed divinity
EDIT: I'll reply to your reply when I get back from class.

Bismillahi Rahmanir Raheem.
(In the Name of God, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful)
Thanks for your question. I hope my answers will provide you with some insight.
1. God and Allah are One and the Same. The God of the Qur'an is the same God of the Old and New Testament.
2. Christians are the only ones who believe Jesus died on the cross. God says in the Qur'an that He is One, Jesus dinies his own divinity in the Bible, and the Qur'an tells us that Jesus was saved by God from dying on the cross.
3. What Christ taught was actually not what appears in the Bible. Jesus Christ was a Prophet, a Messenger, the Messiah and a good muslim. He taught that freedom comes from God, and submission to God (Islam) is freedom.
4. Again, Jesus did not die on the cross and we are all accountable for our sins, whether we believe in God's Message or not. Regardless of your religion, you will be held accountable for what you did while you lived in this world.
5. Those who turn towards God (or Allah, or any other name you may apply to Him) are truly friends of God as said in the Qur'an. Those who turn away from God, regardless of their religion, can not call themselves friends to God, as God is aware of their deceit. God is aware of all things.
6. God is here on Earth. He is everywhere. He is in the sun, the moon, the wind, the rain. God says in the Qur'an He is in fact closer to you than your own jugular. He is also in Heaven, and the ones who deceived you were Constantine, who merged the True Teachings of Christ (Islam) with paganism, and Paul, who applied his own perseptions to the Bible and told the faitful of Christ to consider a horrible symbol like the cross, which was used to kill people, symbolic of Christ's "sacrifice" although Christ did not die on the cross, and was but a mortal man, a servant of God just like every one of us.
Why would a Christian want to convert to Islam? It's simple. Because Islam is the Truth. Because when you are shown the Truth, and you love God with all of your heart, you will, God willing, see His Message to you. Islam is a message of Peace, Love, Mercy, Compassion and submission to nothing and no one except God, and anyone who practices the opposite while calling themselves a muslim, will be held accountible on the Day of Judgement.
I pray my answer finds you well and in good health.
May God lead us all to His Way, Ameen.

A good question and an array of good reasons from you, no doubt. But can you always stop anybody from making a mistake? When all is said and done, all religions are eventually matters of personal choices, so there is no need to feel upset. God willing, good sense will ultimately prevail and people everywhere will stay where they really belong to.

see factor # 10 Why you're able to have self belief the Bible and since the Bible is authentic, then you definately could have self belief in God,simply by fact the Bible speaks of Him present day. it is predicated on the history of the King James 1611AV Bible. different variations (233 distinctive variations on the marketplace), ALL are shown to be from corrupt MSS (manuscripts). one million. It does not call for blind faith. For faith to be of any cost, it would desire to be consistent with information, on reality. 2. historic history helps the Bible's accuracy. 3. The Gospels grant stable debts of Jesus. 4. Archaeology technological know-how backs up Biblical debts. 5. Textual scholarship confirms the Bible. 6. The Bible is authentic to it incredibly is unique style simply by fact: a. we've one among those hugh style of MSS copies, over 24,000. b. those copies accept as true with one yet another ninety 9.5%. c. the dates of those MSS are very on the brink of dates of their originals. 7. The Bible's textual integrity is extra particular than that of Plato's writtings and Homer's Illad. 8. history written ahead of time is evidence the Bible isn't a made from guy. 9. in assessment, the e book of mormon: archaeology has many times did no longer substantiate the e book's claims of cities, persons, names or places suggested. 10.From a historic and criminal perpective, if sufficient eyewitnesses are alive whilst the the information are printed, it incredibly is may well be extremely properly universal the vaidity of a mundane journey. I think that Christians who convert to Islam (and actually, the majority of converts to Islam were people of faith before, as opposed to atheists) see it as a natural continuation of Christianity. This is what I struggle with when considering Christianity or Judaism - that for someone who knows about Islam, it's going backwards.

What difference does it make it is all fairytales filled with superstition, inconsistencies and contradictions, faiths of any denomination need to take a good hard look at themseleves with the blinkers off and see how ridiculous they look to the truely enlightened, no not catholics or buddhists or christians or athiests or agnostics or muslims but those with the intellectual tools to see that if there is anything its a general consciousness which we all share call it god if you want but its disgusting to give it your own name tie up doctrine with it and then say your doctrine is better because you believe it and so do these 20,000,000 people, for christ sake shouldnt we all just live our lives to our best ability, with compassion and empathy enough to help those who are in a postion we dont want to be in. I dont care what you call it or what your faith says its yours, dont be so naive and actually care. When you see the news bulletin tonight and that grizzly car accident comes on and you hear that person with 3 kids was killed instantly think about why "god" let that happen and realise there was no god to stop it, but be conscious of how you can stop it with your attitude on the road or wherever. Its all attitude have a good one and see people make the world people make things happen good and bad, if you dont want to do good no problem just dont do bad, how fvcken hard is it?

Question:
The Qur’an says several times that Allah is most Merciful and Forgiving but also says many times that He gives severe punishment. Is He Forgiving or Revengeful?
Answer:
1. Allah is most Merciful
The Qur’an says several times that Allah is the most Merciful. In fact all the 114 Surahs i.e. chapters of the Glorious Qur’an except for Surah Taubah chapter 9, begin with the beautiful formula, Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim, which means, "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful".
2. Allah is Forgiving
The Glorious Qur’an mentions in several verses including Surah Nisa, chapter 4 verse 25 and Surah Maidah, chapter 5 verse 74:
"And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
3. Allah gives severe punishment to the deserving
Allah besides being Merciful and Forgiving is also strict in giving punishment to the deserving. The Qur’an mentions in several verses that Allah will give severe punishment to the unbelievers and rejecters of faith. He will give punishment to all those who disobey Him. Several verses of the Qur’an describe the various types of severe punishment that Allah will give in hell to all those who disobey.
"Those who reject our Signs, we shall soon cast into the Fire; as often as their skins
Are roasted through, we shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise".
[Al-Qur’an 4:56]
4. Allah is Just
The question is, whether Allah is forgiving or revengeful? An important point to be noted is that Allah besides being Merciful and Forgiving, He also has to give severe punishment to the deserving wicked or evil people, because He is also Just. The Qur’an mentions in Surah Nisa: "Allah is never unjust in the least degree".
[Al-Qur’an 4:40]
It is further mentioned in Surah Al-Ambiya:
"We shall set up scales of justice for the day of Judgement, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least. And if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, we will bring it (to account): and enough are we to take account".
[Al-Qur’an 21:47]
5. Example: Teacher forgives a student who copies in the examination
If during an examination, a student copies and the teacher who supervises in the examination catches the student red-handed, the teacher says that he is very merciful and kind and forgives him and allows him to continue copying. Those students who have worked hard for the examination will not call the teacher merciful and kind but will call him unjust. This merciful act of the teacher will encourage the other students to also copy. If all the teachers are merciful and kind and allow the students to copy then no student will ever study for examinations and all will pass with flying colours by copying. The theoretical results of the examinations will be excellent in which all the students will pass with first class and distinction but practically these students will be a failure in life. The whole purpose of the examination would be defeated.
6. This Life is a Test for the Hereafter
The life in this world is a test for the Hereafter. The Qur’an says in Surah Al Mulk: "He who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed; and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving".
[Al-Qur’an 67:2]
7. If Allah forgives all and punishes none, who will obey him?
If Allah (swt) forgives each and every human being and punishes no one, then why should the human beings obey the command of Allah (swt)? I do agree that no one will go to hell, but this world would become hell to live in. If all human beings are going to go to heaven then what is the purpose and use of the human beings to come to this world, this life cannot be called a test for the hereafter.
8. Allah only forgives if a person repents
Allah (swt) only forgives if a person repents. The Qur’an says in Surah Al-Zumar, chapter 39 verse 53-55:
"Say: ‘O my servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
"Turn ye to your Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (will), before the penalty comes on you - after that ye shall not be helped."
"And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you from your Lord, before the penalty comes on you - of a sudden, while ye perceive not!"
[Al-Qur’an 39:53-55]
There are four criteria for repentance: First, agree that the act is wrong. Secondly, stop it immediately. Thirdly, never do it again in future. And lastly, compensate for the loss if caused to anyone.

Instead of seeking the reasons of converts in an intellectual manner, you are shoving your criticism of their conversion down their throats.
Why not politely ask them their reasons?
