I've always believed that Britain has long remained our strongest ally due to our command of English. Even if English wasn't the standard, If there was one official, dominant language that every country on earth mastered and used on a daily basis, wouldn't trade, communication, diplomacy, foreign affairs, etc. between nations be improved?

Is it the fact that atheists don't believe as they do? The fact that their threats of hell don't work? The fact that they won't play along and pretend something exists without evidence? Or the fact that the atheists actually have evidence to back up what they believe, rather than a piecemeal book of ancient stories and local rules from the middle east? For some reason it looks like the pagans, Hindu's and other religious groups don't have a real problem with atheists.

My priest said that there are a lot of things in the bible that didn't happen. Its how we use it to interpret it to live happy lives. But, doesn't that limits one's strong feeling of faith?

I am the light/the truth etc:
-Jesus was not talking about himself. He was talking about the principal of "I am" which is the mystic's consception of God.
He had no personal sense, he was all God or universal sense. "I am"= God is.
The Kingdom:
Jesus was not talking about a heaven after death. He was talking about a current state of mystical awareness. The kingdom is all around you. The kingdom is within. He was saying God is an ever present reality ready to be participated in by anybody, not that he was the representative of some far off after-death realm.
Heaven/hell-
Jesus' reference to hell was a reference to a geographical location where garbage was burned. He was making reference to being lost in material form not a post death punishment realm.

All this is born out by the tradition of the mystery schools which the essenes were immersed in. Christianity is nothing more than two thousand years of distortion of the teachings of a man who never wrote a word nor founded a church.

Personally, I get tired of arguing why I believe in God and
if they don't want to believe, that's up to them. I believe in
God and that there will be a Judgement Day. If you're not
ready, well, that's the way it goes. That may sound terrible
but sitting around arguing is terrible also and sure doesn't
seem to get anywhere.

I'm a black male I am 16 I do happen to be gay but I'm very masculine it dose not show at all I don't ,act,walk,talk femenine, etc. But I have had people ask me if I was gay I denied of course maybe about 4 or 5 people this school year and I asked why .. I said do I act gay or do I have the "gay voice" there like no not at all you just dress really preppy and preppy black guys are always gay ...That makes no sense like I lieved in Florida and alot of black guys wore Hollister A&F etc .. but in my new location everyone assumes I'm gya because of my clothes ..that makes no sense why do people assume youre gay if your a black prep.. I meen coincidentally I am but I dont act liek it you cant tell at all.And My friend Ronin came from Floride *hes defenitley straight and and plays football etc .. and people assume hes gay because hes a black prep this makes no sense ...Do you get it do you have the same method of thinking why do people assume youre gay if youre black and preppy ..

I'm talking about the ones who have passed on. I often think about my Great-Grandmother, or a sweet girl I once knew that accidentally overdosed on sleeping pills, another girl I went to school with when I was little who had MS, I wonder what they are doing in their next life, what it is like.
