I don't think it is fair that individuals of a particular religion tell others with different beliefs to leave the forum. They say that this forum is for members of a certain mainstream religion only. I honestly find that childish!
This category is "Religion and Spirituality"...all people with religious beliefs and views on spirituality are welcome here, if they are willing to follow the guidelines Yahoo has set out.
I dont appreciate being told to leave because I dont belong to a particular mainstream religion!

NOTE!! I'm NOT talking about people being told to leave for being rude (that I agree with), I'm talking about being told to leave for not being a certain religion.

I have lived and worked in the U.S, South Africa, Australia and Indonesia as well as London and always been accepted by the the local community, but I have never met such a bunch of insular, inbred, ignoramus idiots as the residents of King`s Lynn Norfolk.

I am british, but i seriously love my country, but it gets the words racist, and arrogant and ignorant etc through at it.

i have always been proud, but i know i am neither racist nor arrogant nor ignorant.

i seriously would love to know how people can base a whole country as being this way, because of a few terrible experiances.
i mean if that was the case, nobody would go anywhere, would they?

so back to the question, do you ever hate the country you live in because of reputation? that it has been labeled by people?

or do you feel, still very proud, and know that you are either a person who is being labled correctly, or someone who knows they are not like that.

it's so easy to make a new account...type in some names and 5 random numbers in the zip code and bam you are in. Doesn't even take 5 minutes. Perhaps you only made it for one time, and never logged into it again...but you just wanted to post a question to rile someone up, make someone laugh...etc etc.

It has been over 2 years since my back started hurting me. Out of the blue, it aches and it is the one and only thing that I think about most of the time. I never ask for help from anyone but, something has to give. But today it hurts more than it has in a long time and cried in pain. I am ready to go to my doctor and ask to get 'dooped' on drugs because the pain is never ending. Right or wrong wanting drugs to end this, I am not sure if it would. I am not even sure why my back hurts. I have been to a chiropractor many times and had a back massages too.
I just don't know what else to do. Its frustrating for me. It makes me wonder what I did to get this pain. I wonder if God punishes people with cronic pain like this?? Sure makes me wonder.

I feel very lost right now. I am gay, HIV-Positive and have NF1. I was born with NF1 and had numerous surgeries since I was a child leading to severe disfigurements. In addition to my coming out, my parents eventually disowned me for being gay. I moved to NYC from LA and discovered that I was HIV-positive. That was several years ago. I have since found myself in a deep depression that hinders my ability to form healthy relationships with others who are not only accepting but non-judgemental as well. I work in the arts and my work can be sporadic thus leaving me with no additional income. Since my diganosis, I have taken anti-depressants(which have not helped), undergone therapy and exercised consistently trying to maintain my health and well being. It is rather diffucult since I have no family and little friends. I think the enormity of my situation has dissuaded others from being my friend. I feel like I want to die sometimes. What do I do? I feel so alone and isolated.

When I was younger (in HS) I was so strong in my faith and so sure of what I believed in. Through the years, especially college, I've noticed that my religious beliefs have changed and I'm no longer on the same wave length as I once was. Is this a normal thing for people to go through? Sometimes I don't understand how people can be so strong with what they believe (especially when it comes to religion) and some people are so confident in bevieng nothing at all. I'm sick of believing in something just because society says I should or that it's what I was raised with...

So my question is, What do you believe in? Why do you believe it?
