You fill up me senses like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime, like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert, like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses come fill me again.

Come let me love you, let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter, let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you, let me always be with you
Come let me love you, come love me again.

are we all singing now ?
I hope so
isn't music just awesome...

When the white eagle of the North is flying overhead,
And the browns reds and golds of Autumn lie in the gutter dead.
Remember then the Summer birds with wings of fire flaying,
Come to witness Springs new hope,
Born of leaves decaying.
As new life will come from death,
Love will come at leisure.
Love of love, love of life,
And giving without measure,
Gives in return, the wondrous yearn,
Of a promise almost seen.
Live hand in hand ,
and together we'll stand,
On the threshold of a dream.

Not actually a song but spoken on the Moody Blues "Threshold of a Dream" Album in the sixties.
Best wishes, Mike.

"As long as your mine" from the musical "wicked". It's a beautiful love song and brings back fond memories of when my boyfriend danced with me to it in his room softly singing the lyrics in my ear the night of our first kiss. I always was the hopeless romantic. lol. Love you sweety. Great question Pangel. We need more warmth and fuzziness in the world.

Warm and fuzzy? Warm and FUZZY?!? I'm a dour, flinty, hard-nosed heathen, dagnabbit! We don't DO "warm and fuzzy!" :-P

But, errrr, uhhh . . . for me it's Bonnie Raitt, Natalie Merchant, and Alison Moorer. *sigh* Something about a beautiful female voice singing from the heart just gets me all . . . misty.

"They told you life is hard
It's misery from the start
It's dull and slow and painful

I tell you life is sweet
In spite of the misery
There's so much more
Be grateful

Who do you believe?
Who will you listen to
Who will it be?"

Natalie Merchant, "Life is Sweet." Yes, I sing along. :-)

Thank you for the inspiring words. Unfortunately, I can't quite think of the tune to that.

Music IS awesome! Its power is amazing.
I love to hear the songs that my father used to sing when I was a little kid. It really takes me back to that very happy time. He'd play the guitar and kind of jump from song to song, and he was such a great singer. He even wrote some of his own songs.

His favorite, and one of mine, is "In dreams of yesterday." This is appropriate since I'm talking about the songs taking me back in time, huh?!

Oh whoops. It's actually called "Dreaming of a little cabin." Here are the words:

In dreams of yesterday I wandered
Back to my little cabin door.
I strolled beside an old rock garden
And saw familiar scenes once more.
I heard the organ softly playing
Its music came so sweet and low.
And I heard my mother sweetly singing
As oft I did so long ago.

I was dreaming of a little cabin
And I heard somebody call my name.
I Looked and saw a sweet old lady
And it seemed I was a child again.
She gently put her arms around me
And kissed her little boy once more.
I knew it was the same sweet mother
That had kissed me many times before

I heard her sing the "Rock of Ages"
And "Silver Threads Among the Gold".
She told me once again of Jesus
Within that little cabin fold.
She opened up her faded Bible
Where the family records used to be
And I knew it was the same sweet mother
That years ago had cradled me.

An orphan through this world I wander
Since mother left the old homestead.
No one to pray for me at twilight
No place to lay my weary head.
I miss her voice so gently calling
I miss her precious guiding hand.
But I know that when I reach God's city
I'll hear her call my name again.

Music is wonderful and I do really enjoy John Denver's music. Music can be used to sooth your soul or make you tense. It can speak to you when nothing else can get through.

I learned several years back that by listening to classical music that I didn't feel the rage of sitting still in traffic. Any other music made me want to hurry.

I don't know that song! You must share, name of singer, song, and cd.

Warm and fuzzy? "When we make love" by alabama. It was the song we danced to at my wedding. I can't think of any other warm and fuzzy ones. I guess I need to find some!
