Not homophobic: Unity, Wicca, the United Church of Christ (as opposed to a different Church of Christ denomination that does have anti-gay issues), Metropolitan Community Churches, Eckankar, Unitarian Universalists, Episcopalians, Buddhism. To name a few.

of course most religions are homophobic...i dont understand the people who say that religions are not homophobic but they only think homosexuality is not right (duh!),,,like if someone says: " i am not racist but chinese people are not right"...They are homophobic because most religions base their control of people on sex. They just place a sexual frustration and uncertainty on people and therefore they are weaker and controllable. For these religions homosexual people are just a threaten.

I think they all are but their books were written by people. The books they chose to go by or whatever. Written by normal human beings therefore they put their own bias in the books and that made the religion homophobic.

maximum religions are homophobic, in particular because of the fact they have been made thousands of years in the past whilst that form of thinking replaced into acceptable. the only faith i understand isn't homophobic is Unitarianism, of which I switched over to those days. i in my opinion in basic terms found out this faith by means of twist of destiny, the place i replaced into finding up Stephen King on wikipedia and that i observed that he replaced right into a believer. His daughter is a lesbian and a Unitarian minister and her companion is a lesbian reverend interior the same faith, and that i observed could articles written by means of Unitarians approximately how homosexuality is organic and not immoral, that's astounding in view that's a branch of Christianity. I stay in eire, a fervent Catholic united states and somewhat racist and homophobic, and that i replaced into sickened on the sight.

religions themselves are not homophobic (can a religion really be frightened by homosexuality?), it's the people who follow it that are homophobic. So....it's not based on religion, but a person. Anyone can be homophobic, regardless of what religion they follow.

From what I have seen, most religions have their own homophobia, the only exceptions I am aware of are Wicca and, perhaps, Buddhism.

Judaism & Islam would tie for #1, as they both have death penalty.
Christianity, it is a sin, but only god can judge.

People keep saying Buddhism is in no way.
Buddhism: generally frowns on sexual desire, regardless.
Buddhist scripture that advises against gay and lesbian sex urges the same for heterosexuals.:
Dalai Lama: "Even with your wife, using one's mouth or the other hole is sexual misconduct. Using one's hand, that is sexual misconduct. From a Buddhist point of view, men-to-men and women-to-women is generally considered sexual misconduct."

This is because: "The Dalai Lama: "A sexual act is deemed proper when the couples use the organs intended for sexual intercourse "

So anything other than penis to vagina sex would be misconduct

Maybe all especially if it is Bible based. The thing is even if it we were not meant to have sex with the same sex. I'm thinking that God does not make mistakes (assuming some people are born hardwired to love of their own sex) so really it's not wrong it's just different. Besides it really not our job to judge it's our job to forgive.
