I'm a black male I am 16 I do happen to be gay but I'm very masculine it dose not show at all I don't ,act, walk, talk femenine, etc. But I have had people ask me if I was gay I denied of course maybe about 4 or 5 people this school year and I asked why .. I said do I act gay or do I have the "gay voice" there like no not at all you just dress really preppy and preppy black guys are always gay ...That makes no sense like I lieved in Florida and alot of black guys wore Hollister A&F etc .. but in my new location everyone assumes I'm gya because of my clothes ..that makes no sense why do people assume youre gay if your a black prep.. I meen coincidentally I am but I dont act liek it you cant tell at all.And My friend Ronin came from Floride *hes defenitley straight and and plays football etc .. and people assume hes gay because hes a black prep this makes no sense ...Do you get it do you have the same method of thinking why do people assume youre gay if youre black and preppy ..

those manufacturers are not particularly that preppy, they simply sell some preppy issues like polos and plaid stuff. I agree that they are made affordably and are overpriced, yet human beings purchase them besides because they're plenty greater decrease priced than many different manufacturers. i in my opinion do not probable like them because of the fact anybody the place I stay shops there and that i hate it whilst human beings placed on the same issues as I do. The labels you indexed are easily preppy. additionally, consistent with the guy who stated something approximately Abercrombie outfits ripping and Hollister not ripping, the two manufacturers are owned by means of the same company so are for this reason created from the same fabrics. If one rips, the different is merely as probable to tear.

Unfortunately, many people are drawn to some form of stereotype that screams at the top of its little lungs "hey look at this person! There one of them!!!" Which of course then leads to the inevitable questions such as the ones you've been facing. My advise to you would be to just keep getting the good clothes and telling people to get a life about "prep" students.

Caring a lot about clothes, owning a lot of clothes, being wrapped up in brand names and seasonal items, all those things are considered a gay stereotype, particularly by stupid high school kids. What you're saying applies to white people too. You sound too paranoid about being spotted buddy. Relax WWII is over and Hitler's squadrons aren't hunting us down anymore.

Now that's a very good question. If I saw you, I would just think you were a rich boy not gay or straight.
