I have faith, I really do. But now I've made a major decision that I feel He wanted me to make, now I'm having doubts. I know you can't have faith and worry in the same sentence, but what do you do?
Thank you for taking the time to answer me:-)

Ask for conformations that are unmistakable....once you have been convinced of his answer....proceed with "reckless abandon" in faith......I hope that you understand....

Doubt is the enemy of faith, this is true.
Now, if you have serious doubts about what you think you are supposes to do, discuss it with someone older and also a long time Christian. Trust the wisdom of older saints. Many of them have missed God enough to be able to tell it right away.

That's a very human reaction, so don't worry. When I find myself in that place, I take a deep breath and give myself some time to be alone without distractions. As we grow, our faith will be strengthend through struggle. Without struggle, how would we grow?

Don't worry or let fear or doubt get you down. Just take a deep breath and let your faith grow. (2 Tim 1:7)

Making those decisions can be scary. I simply trust that God knows best, even if I'm not sure about it. The first thing to do is pray and read your Bible, that's the greatest source of comfort you can get.

But, you can try other things that relax you, like reading a book or watching a movie. The decision is made so fretting about it does nothing, try to take your mind off of it and let God direct you :)

God bless.

You need to pray some more. Ask for confirmation.

It's easy to think that God wants something because we want it. But that's not always the case. It's not about believing in yourself...or trusting your instincts...that's not God. That's you.

I remember an acquaintance of mine...he was always saying things like "God wants me to have a rock band" and "God wants me to live in a dome house." Every time he thought of something he'd like to do...he made it into God wants it.

Well, you need to pray and ask God to show you what he really wants you to do. Ask him to give you confirmation...and then be open to his answer. You'll know it when you get it.

What you are talking about isn't a matter of faith and just believing hard enough. You have to know that it isn't you, but him that you are following. It's very easy to get caught up in our own desires...or lack of desire and totally miss that which God does want from us.

Ask God if what you're doing is truly from Him. If He tells you it is then, and i know its easier said than done, just have faith! Spend time with Him asking Him to strengthen your faith and give you peace. And thank Him for using you! God bless.

Keep your faith in him. We may not know his plan, but he always works it out for us. Try harder to just give you worries and troubles to him. Pray. He loves to hear you.

if you think God wanted you to take it then you made the right choice, but if you are having doubts, are you sure it was right? you shouldnt doubt anything you think God would want. read your Bible, pray, go to church tomorrow. everything will get better.

Whatever God has planned for you is so much better than what you could plan for yourself so follow it and don't be afraid. It will turn out for the best and you will be happy.
