Build a moat in your back yard. Put your cats food on one side with your dog, and your dogs food on the other side with your cat. See which one figures out they can eat the others food first, and then declare that religion the new, all powerful ruler of the earth....for now.

First of all if youre serious all animals bow down to God they should have no trouble getting along but it may be in their animal natureto fight or provoke one another.
