The Christians, most it seems, believed Bush when he said there were newly created WMD. None have been found, just some old junk from the 1980s that was no longer dangerous.

We were to be greeted as 'liberators', but aside from some staged photo-ops and the gratitude of the Kurds, who were working with Al Qaeda, we haven't gotten many flowers.

It was supposed to take a few months, or a year or so, and we'd leave, but we're still there.

The oil industry was supposed to pay for it all, but Congress just approved a few hundred billion more.

Bush dismissed the Civil War warnings of the Generals in order to sell the idea to the American public, but there are few who refuse to call it a Civil War these days.

Is this what 'Faith Based' decision making is all about?

Like something you said on Yahoo? And someone picks it up, and later criticizes You with it?
Or do you realize that communication is more complicated than what is said in a few conversations? And to have a "level" head, we must sometimes consider opposing viewpoints?

I found out last night at 10pm that my friend who I don't know so well is having a surprise birthday dinner at a restaurant tonight and that I was invited. We are all paying are own way. ( I am almost positive). My bday recently passed and she called to wish me a Happy Bday.

What is appropriate? A card? A card and gift? I don't know. It is not a big party. We are just meeting to surprise her for dinner. Any thoughts

‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded form the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’

with their Creationist Museums and their contempt for education?

We already have to import our research scientists to compensate for the lack of scientific comprehension in America.

How long before theses scientists are no longer interested in helping a primitive people? How long before they decide to stay home and help their own people?

The Bible unfolds, God creates the world and mankind, there is the fall, the flood and the scattering of nations and a series of covenants with Noah, with Abraham, with Moses, with David and the coming new covenant and the Messiah

The Koran begins with an inditement against idolatry without explaining who God is and the first sura is about the golden calf. The various suras do not necessarily build on each other but like psalms or proverbs touch here and there. And the stories of the Koran although they refer to people in Old and New Testaments are different than the Bible so it is not clear that it builds on itself or the Bible. Or does it?

How does this building or non building affect the way the various believers in the two believe and act? The books of the BIble rest on each other. The Koran appears to rest on itself... or does it
