Actually, heaven is picturized in the bible as an enormous garden where you can have a great time fulfilling all your needs. The actual meaning of this is the peace of the soul.

However, I think we should spend more time trying to fulfill our needs and have peace in our souls in this life, which we for sure know that it exists, rather than wondering how heaven will be like.

Heaven and Hell are right here, inside us or around us. Just take a look.

Yeah i figure that there will be dancing and things. And there are a few things that we will be doing which are talked about. But there are other things that I am intrigued by. Like the Gates of the city where we will live with God being always open. twelve of them. Open to what? What's outside of that city that measures 1400 x 1400 x 1400 miles. ( that includes 1400 miles high!) What's outside of that city? I would think that there are many things that would make us wonder. If we can have a 1400 mile high city and survive the ascent, then are there vast valleys with waterfalls and rivers and lakes that cover the earth? I don't know! Apparently gravity doesn't work the same because we can live at 1400 miles high. The atmosphere would have to be that thick if we even need one. And what about the sky? Will we be able to go anywhere in the universe without the problem of propulsion and radiation and other such things? I don't know!

It's impossible to concieve something that takes 2000 years or so in Heaven time to create. It will be nothing like Earth as we know it. If you read the Revelation of John (last book of the bible) and read where it describes the throne room, you'll see what I mean. The One who sits on the throne is described as not some big guy with a white beard but a being with extraordinary features and a Jade colored face. There's a big rainbow around the throne with lightnings and thunderings coming out of it. Hard to imagine. Four beasts of different varieties on the corners on the slab on which the throne sits. Trumpeting that forms words. Can you imagine that?

We'll be exploring the new creation, building spaceships, going underwater, climbing mountains, going to the beach, I'm personally joining the nearest football team. It'll be much like this earth but without the sin that pollutes it. And all the good things will be intensified. Also lots of worshipping and singing and dancing. But not constantly for millions of years. That would be hell, not heaven!

From multiple descriptions of heaven, from people who for sure do not comprehend, i could particularly spend eternity in Pittsburgh. Very frankly Heaven sounds as boring as Hell. i can not sing, do not play a musical tool and don't desire to sing each and each individual's praises for eternity or perhaps for some years, i don't even desire to hearken to human beings do it. i could desire to meed the super non secular leaders t]o discover out what they actually stated, yet i could additionally like assembly different Gods and Goddesses to confirm why their religions weren't valuable. If I observed Golden Streets i could in all probability dig them up and use them to set jewelry. i could spend my time mining the hills of Heaven and questioning relating to the rock formations in the hills of Hell.

As Christians, we are to conform our lives to the image of God here on earth. Not our ways, but His; not our thinking, but His, not our desires, but His. There's " NO " way to do this without studying and obeying God's Word. Thereby doing so, our lives will spiritually blossom and we, over time, will be walking in God's will for our lives. To answer your question, our role/roles in heaven will be determined by our faithfulness on earth. The stage has been set. If we act out our part as His faithful servant here, it is unimaginable/ unfathomable what God has in store for us! Onward, Christian soldiers!!!!

A lot of people have mentioned Revelation, but that book is full of metaphors. It's not necessarily supposed to be taken literally, but you can get the gist from it.

Supposedly, the earth will be destroyed and recreated. That is, without pollution, the idea of money, anything negative, among other things that came about with man. So, to me that sounds like we get to do whatever makes us happy without other things getting in our way.

Listening to Jesus tell stories out of the Bible and singing praises to God. We also won't hurt anymore and we will be able to live with others that love the Lord.
