NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Teenagers often suffer emotional consequences from having sex, even when it's "only" oral sex, a study published Monday suggests.




Researchers at the University of California San Francisco found that up to one-half of the sexually active teenagers in their study said they'd ever felt "used," guilty or regretful after having sex.

Though such feelings were less common among teens who'd only had oral sex, about one-third reported some type of negative consequence.

Dr. Sonya S. Brady and Bonnie L. Halpern-Felsher report the findings in the journal Pediatrics.

The study, according to the researchers, suggests that parents should be sure to talk with their kids about the potential negative effects of having oral sex, not only intercourse.

"When parents and teens talk about the consequences of having 'sex,' they may not take the time to define what sex is," Brady and Halpern-Felsher noted in comments to Reuters Health.

The scientific method is empirically based. One creates a hypothesis, sets up an experiment with a control, and observes, and checks one’s findings against that hypothesis.
It seems to me that the claim “Science disproves God’s existence,” over steps the boundaries of what science actually can do. One cannot observe a spiritual being, or set up experiments to “test” if He is there. Would any one who holds the position that “Science disproves God’s existence” care to explain how the scientific method is able to address questions pertaining to God’s existence?

Most them are sitting by a desk, using a PC connected to the web, have tunes on their ipods, buy latest trainers, video games, massive TV's. etc.

Are they hypocrites or just too stupid to realise they are part of the 'machine'?

it will be a world without war, hunger, pestilence, disease, non existence of racial, social, economic, psychological and any kind of discriminations. just plain world of people co-existing with one another doing business, getting along and settling dispute by peaceful means and the only thing that will have competition will be in sports or any other peaceful competitive way, just to make life interesting and something to make life worthwhile.

Should all Americans not of native American descent be deported back to their original homelands. They illegally stole the country and massacred the native people indiscriminately. This genocide was comparable to the genocides of Nazi Germany. Reparations should be given to native Americans and their land should be returned. It's science fiction or fantasy. No longer a fan of the genre, but picked up a copy laying around and turned to this quote. Profound, huh? Especially, when an in-law calls you "honey", because they don't want you to breath their air, or air on the planet, or solar system, or universe.

What kind of pleasure is there to do something anonymously ?? I am not talking for example of sending money to a charity anonymously( you dont look for recognition and then you just do what seems good to you) I mean people who send anonymous letters or give anonymous phone calls knowing that obviously there act will remain a mistery for the receaver !
