Why is it that the Holocaust occurred in a Christian nation? Why is there so much bloodshed in the Christian nation of Ireland? Why did it take so long to eliminate slavery in Christian USA? Why did Christian Europeans exp ell and slaughter thousands of Jews, Muslims, and other heretics?
As "real" Christians will tell you, the perpetrators were not "real" Christians. Where were the "real" Christians? Were they apathetic about the atrocities because it wasn't "Christians" being slaughtered? Why didn't the "real" Christians speak out about the slaughter and make an effort to stop it? It may not have been "real" Christians that committed the atrocities, but the perpetrators were definitely products of the Christian culture and were supported by "real" Christians.

Easy tiger..what I think is a self proclaimed Christian has really rubbed you the wrong way. I am of a great understanding of this because I was raised in a Christian family with all the morals that it brings and the condemnation. These things you say the "Christians" said about the black people and the Muslims are everything I was brought up not to say. Of course..as with any religion..there is an attempt in converting what they see as the "lost". But by no means is that supposed to be judgment. There are the judgmental hypocrites as there are in every race or religion but it doesn't stand for them all.It may even seem majority at times but it doesn't mean that it's all. Just like all Muslims are not suicide bombers..there are those who worship peacefully. Like all black people weren't born into slavery..not all white people were slave owners. As for the Jews..why would anyone want them to apologize for giving the Christians a chance to be saved and forgiven? The Jewish people have suffered enough..Hitler's army was not Christian nor claimed to be.Open your mind. Not to Christians..not to the past..but to yourself and life and the right everyone no matter who they are has to live.

christianity has not been the sole reason behind the millions slain over the years. in the times of the crusades they had moved to the middle east(persia) to hunt for the holy grail, only to be halted by the persians for what reason other than hatred towards anything that didn't have allah written on it. and now you must also remember that your boy mohammad was not around at this time either. If the crusades for the holy land had been aloud none of this would have happened. It was truly a peacful beginning until (like the modern day sadr's of the world thought that maybe it was time to rid the world of these pageans) that is why there have so many non christian deaths over the years past.I do not believe that the non christians of the world are pagaens or devil worshipers I understand the importance of religion in ones life. I do not understand the hatred amongst muslims because of something that never actually happened. Now the slave thing I could agree with you on. But the rest dude sounds like a bunch of crap to me.

First off I have to give Shadow a clap on the back with the answer "i like the christians who can prove their point and not once use a bible verse, those ones know what they're talking about" I definitely agree with that. Atheists- non-conformists, some can be logical, can be just as good of a friend as a member of any religion, good for a debate ;) Jews- I really like the sense of family in the Jewish religion, the strength to remain in their faith despite what has occurred to them over the years, generally nice people, interesting, plus Fiddler on the Roof is one of my favourite movies so they get brownie points. Muslims- Deep believers, family ties, Qu'ran although isnt my favourite holy book does have some words of wisdom. Truthfully all religions should be respected, because you will never know till the end who has it right, and how much of an idiot would you feel if you bashed the one that was right the entire time. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Or maybe the atheists have it right.. or no one has it right and we just were epically screwed with our logic xD

That the majority of those calling themselves 'Christians' , are/were not true Jesus' followers, as they don't/didn't practice what Jesus preached; they were and still are a bunch of arrogant, intollerant, ignorant (in terms of History, Science, Archaeology and Philology) fanatics who believe they're superior to anyone who's non-Christian.
The biggest problem about 'Christianity' is this: 'Christianity' as a religion, was invented by those who were planning to gain power uniting crowds under one Creed, NOT by Jesus himself, who was a MAN, a wise one as matter of fact, a King and a Nazarite and who never ever founded any Church.
Jesus has been used by the Church to build a new Faith, but that new Faith has never been tolerant and never will be. A very few enlightened followers of Jesus, who act as he preached, are those who'd actually take their distance from the Church and from Christianity. The rest of the so-called Christians, just give Jesus a bad name.
On the other hand, I must add that ANY form of Faith, when brought to fanatism IS WRONG as it turns into intolerance and disrespect towards the ones with different views. RELIGION is the most distructive weapon Mankind ever invented, and as long as there'll be religion, there'll be fanatics and therefore there'll be wars too.

Believing in God is not about what religious nametag you have! It's too bad that people are forgetting about the true reason to believe in God. It doesn't matter if you are Jewish, Catholic, Baptist there are hundreds more; all that God cares about is whether or not you believe in him and you follow him. You can wear thirty crosses around your neck, pray eight times a day, do dances and you still won't go to heaven. why? because you odn't understand the meaning of those things. When you raise your hands in church, do you know what that means? It means that you telling God, "God, if you want to, you can kill me now, i'm here and i worship you." Many people do these rituals and they have no idea why. They sing but there heart is not in it. If you sing, then sing from your heart. No matter what religion you are. Praise God and believe in him wiht your heart and your soul. That's all he cares about.

your cinicism for christianity is appaling.
im agnostic after leaving catholocism, but your just disgusting. for all the hate you say they have, you've got quite a deal yourself. "pot call the kettle black" so to say. your "facts" are nothing more than your exagerated versions of a dismal reality you've created for yourself. historicly, chirstians have killed many, ie: spanish inquisition, holy crusades...you name it. however, those deaths are little to nothing compared to the deaths inflicted by muslim extremists. NOTE: i didnt say muslims...the muslim religion is a peaceful one if followed sincerely. Muslim extremists are the ones who blow themselves and other, innocent people up in their sad attempt at making the world conform to their own beliefs.
everyone needs to get over the past...not forget it, but learn from it and move on. i've heard that blacks need to get over slavery before, but that really dusnt seem like much of an issue, but i have NEVER, not ONCE in my life, heard a christian blame the jews for the death of Christ. Secondly, according to the bible, the jews needed to kill Christ in order to fullfil the covenent, forgive our sins, and reopen the gates of heaven to all mankind. im not sure where you got that bit, but its a load of crap.
my only remaining beef with this is your comment on how christians think their religion is the one, true religion. well...what religion dusnt? if people werent sure that their religion was the one, true religion, there wouldn't be any organized religion whatsoever.
what did we learn about angry hypocrites? they just looooove to hate the christians.

im a Christian..you tell me what Christian judges and they arent a real Christian. You tell me what Christian said muslims are "very uncivilized".
Then show me Christians that strap bombs to 5 year olds and show them cartoons of car suicide bombers.
Not one real Christian will say they are the true holy religion, we dont show pride like that, and we certainly dont show hate like you do.
get a clue buddy
