looking at the answers I fear for the future of the human race. Such ignorance.
But in truth, only a small selection of inbred idiots in the US wants evolution out of class and creationism in, thankfully the rest of the world's christians seem a tad more in touch with reality. It's amazing that most of those idiots seem to end up right here on this site.

As long as we dont teach creationism then they wont be able to teach evolution. I think it is stupid to ignor religion as if it doesnt exist even tho I am an unbeliever. Religion and its afteraffects are a large part of society and we do no one any favors by not teaching our children better in that respect. They should have a basic understanding of all major religions. They should learn that in history class. Teaching a class about religion is not the same as having a religious class. Then in science they could learn both sides to the story and be educated adults.

Free will is the right to chose. We chose to teach our children the truth that evolution is merely a theory that does little to advance society and only deals with origins. Those origins are speculations that are clouded by a prejudicial worldview bias towards materialism.

Because they don't understand the difference between science and philosophy. They think that teaching evolution undermines their beliefs instead of enhancing them, which, if they embraced science, it would do just that. They love the ignorance their religion allows them to have and want to spread it.

Personally - I do not want to ban the teaching of evolution. I just dont want my children taught that it is a "fact" when we really dont know. I would like it taught as the known "theory". No one was there when it happened, and we dont REALLY know that 256 billion years ago, a specific star blew up, or a dinosaur died etc etc etc.
Like I said - If they present it as the accepted THEORY of creation, I am ok with it.

christian is not banning the teaching of evolution, and i sure do belive they very much agree in the existence of free will thats why there is sins and forgiveness because man is not perfect in using the gift of free will hence the acts of penance and forgiveness, regarding evolution its just goes against the teaching of creation so there goes the arguments regarding evolution philosophy.

I don't want to ban the teaching of evolution as a theory, just teach it along with other theories. Why do evolutionists refuse to permit the teaching of other theories, thereby allowing their children to learn how to think instead of being force fed one theory?

I don't want it banned, but i would like to see a bit of theory as well that is against your standard theory of evolution, instead of the theory taught as it is an absolute truth that they know what they are talking about.

It's quite funny to read their dismissive views of evolution while being aware of the fact that evolution of species is proven beyond question. How can people be so misinformed? I think straightforward bigotry can be the only reason.
