You need to load cyrillic font support. Go into the control panel, language options and have Windows XP load the Russian and Cyrillic font support.

I had to do the same thing to read Hebrew fonts.

Kovasmomm is right. U just have to change the encoding to be able to read the message, The most often used encoding is Cyrillic KOI8-R, Cyrillis Windows often helps too!

I think you have to download some kind of windows program to recognize characters in that language. I know a friend of mine sometimes has the same problems when she goes on Japanese sites to read Mangas.

use your encoding options on the computer

go to view, encoding , and select the apropriate option

oh and you have to highlight the words that are encrypted
