**after death how often can some one come back to visit those left behind? **
Sorry, not at all.
The Bible Ecclesiastes 9:4-6
For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope:
for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.
Have a pleasant day.

I agree with the Bible, and in what the others have said regarding death and judgement. However, I also believe in eternity, and in an eternal life after judgement, for those who are in Christ. The scripture also says that there will be no more "time" (because we will be eternal) and that we will be like Him.
My personal take on this is that when we are perfected as saints, we will be able to go anywhere in space and time. The scriptures talk about the army of God, and the hosts of heaven. I don't think it's just talking about angels, I think it's talking about US as well. When Elijah pointed out to Elisha the flaming chariots encamped around them, I believe that one day I will be in one of those chariots fighting with him in the past (or at least have the opportunity to be). Please note, this does not mean that we can come back and visit people according to OUR will, but I believe that many people are visited on a daily basis according to GOD's will, by both saints and angels.
I believe that in eternity we will be able to do things that are even undreamable to us now, and that anything that we CAN dream is possible, in obedience to God.

Maybe the first seven days after dying. After that, they go heaven or hell, they got no time to visit those left behind. They are too busy with their activities there. This is a fact.

I believed that the dead can not come back anymore, because the scripture says that after death, judgment. Those who are in the grave good or bad are awaiting the judgment of God and therefore they could not be brought to life until that day of judgment preordained by God.
Those departed one whom we saw, talk with, and sneaking behind us is not the real dead of ours but a look alike or misrepresentation of the devil or demon in particular.

Ghosts are demons. The dead never come back. Demons inhabit places were evil things happen.

You get 5 minutes a month, unless you died an untimely death, in which case you are doomed to haunt the living until you are avenged.

I suppose whenever they want to. You can also attempt to contact them as well, with different mediums such as pendulums and Ouija boards, Dreams, etc.
