Word used in (Gen 1:26) is eloheem and it is translated mighty that is why it is used to describe GOD, False God (gods)(-dess,-ly) angels and judge's. It depends on the context on what it means. an example of the word elohim being used as mighty is in Gen 23:6 Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty430 prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchers bury thy dead; none, of us shall withhold from thee his sepulcher, but that thou mayest bury, thy dead.
i have left the stronges numbers in for easy reference in the meaning of elohim.
Other examples of the elasticity of the word elohim are "godess" in (1 kings 11:33)
"judges" (Exod 21:6) and applied to pagan idols in (Judges 16:23; kings 11:33). It generally acknowledged that it comes from a root meaning "power" or "strong ones".
Adam did not see God in the garden it was an angel sent by god to do his work.
the us in the Beginning was the elohim as in the angels
Man looks like the angels! many people thought they we normal people

I propose that to completely remove the link between people who accept evolution and Evolutionism (as in the communist/Marxist philosophy), we now use the term "evolutionaries".

I personally think this carries a more positive tone. What's your opinion?

I am just naturally drawn to avacado and cheese toasted sandwiches. Is my taste for avacado and cheese sandwiches an innate part of me being me?

Why can't people be happy for me that I like the taste of avacado and cheese toasted sandwiches?

Why do certain narrow-minded people want me to - expect me to - wish for me to - *pray* for me to like curried egg on toast?

Why does my taste for avacado and cheese on toast upset so many people in society?

I read an article recently about this guy who got a sex change operation to become a woman. According to the article he seemed even worse off after the operation than before. The guy wasn't even homosexual. He still had a preference for women... he just wanted to be one of them.
So my question is, what makes people want to change their gender??
Is it even possible to have sex after a sex change operation?

Allegedly, rainbows were started off by God to remind us of the time he drowned most of the world. But physics say that it is simply the natural refraction of light within a prism (in this case a rather crude prism - a raindrop) that causes us to perceive the multitude of colours.

Did God change the way light works just to remind us, were raindrops a different shape before the Flood, did it really never rain before then?

So which is true?

Now I work with Muslims and all of those I work with I know to be decent law obiding family people - so its not about ordinary people it is about the activists.

They always seem to think the whole world is against them and its nothing more than a white christian plot a hangover from the crusades, when the police arrest members of their community. I dont believe that I have ever heard leaders of the communities say these could be bad people and lets face it who are the police going to be looking at for threats of Muslim terrorism, given the evidence of the type of people who are carrying out this terrorism.

Another example is following their arrest and subsequent appearance in court for stirring up hatred at demonstrations and with clear video footage as evidence of what they said on the day they often turn around and say "I didn't mean it", an apology takes courage, as does saying yes it was me, I believed it and still do, so do your worst.

No there is usually a weasle like excuse
