have you learnt that non secular memories/encounters have a right away and nicely documented correlation to a chemical referred to as DMT which your mind clearly produces, and that those who have self belief they have a right away 2-way courting with God have brains which have a tendency to provide extra of this chemical? have you learnt this organic actual secretion is a powerful hallucinogen, or maybe as synthesized and ingested induces memories which maximum all who take it describe as 'powerfully non secular'? All non secular memories are the direct actual result a chemical substance replacing ones ideas, it merely so occurs frequently the chemical compounds are clearly produced. imagine about those who commence thrashing and flailing and conversing in tongues throughout fairly exciting church amenities. What seems extra available to you? That God himself is using those human beings as a conduit, and they are right away touched with assistance from the author of the Universe in a fashion different Christians will for some reason be denied? Or that they are merely getting themselves so very worked up that their bodies are generating a organic intense? this isn't an challenge hostile to God's existence, with assistance from the way... yet when God isn't a chemist, why is the universe made out of chemistry?

No... any "experience" under the influence of these drugs is artificial and chemically caused. You can definitely mimic a feeling of "release" from mental or physical pain, which you might mistake as a "religious experience" but it is
only temporary and usually the "pain" hits back harder than before, after the effects of the drug wear off.
(Hence addiction)
Pychotropic drugs like LDS mimic insanity, which is why they were orginally developed and used by psychiatry in mind control experiments. They also bio- accumulate in body fat like
all drugs......hence the flash back .

Nope. halucinogens may make you think you can fly, and kill yourself.
A shaman who cannot commune with the spirits unless he is under the influence is not much of a shaman. That is my two cents.
The brain makes small amounts of DMT, and THAT is all you need.
