Now I work with Muslims and all of those I work with I know to be decent law obiding family people - so its not about ordinary people it is about the activists.

They always seem to think the whole world is against them and its nothing more than a white christian plot a hangover from the crusades, when the police arrest members of their community. I dont believe that I have ever heard leaders of the communities say these could be bad people and lets face it who are the police going to be looking at for threats of Muslim terrorism, given the evidence of the type of people who are carrying out this terrorism.

Another example is following their arrest and subsequent appearance in court for stirring up hatred at demonstrations and with clear video footage as evidence of what they said on the day they often turn around and say "I didn't mean it", an apology takes courage, as does saying yes it was me, I believed it and still do, so do your worst.

No there is usually a weasle like excuse

The extremists we see are not representative of the religion. The Muslims I've met are quiet, honourable family people just as you've described. I do get the impression from having met a lot of them that this could be the problem. They are used to deferiing to authority and perhaps don't challenge as often as they should. In the current climate of suspicion and accusation, it becomes easy then to fall into a mutual support system which requires them to pay lip-service to the paranoid views of their self-appointed and self-serving rulers who, as you say, when challenged in court try to wriggle out of their statements. The Muslims haven't yet learned that the best way to defeat bullying is to stand up to it. If the Germans had known that lesson seventy years ago, the world would be much different today.

I think that most activists are brained washed by a few,and I think if you got to the heart of it, money and power is what is at the base, just like the I.R.A, soon as the money stopped from Irish Americans after the 9/11 attacks peace seemed to follow.
Just a evil few manipulators out for money and power can turn immpressionble people into believing twisted idealistic versions of holy books or polical situations just like the Bible and Koran have been twisted by different people for years.
It is such a shame that it creates so much mistrust and misunderstanding that causes communities to become split and divided and therefore creates even more people to be taken in by a few evil men. It is not religion that causes war it is a few evil men out for money and power just like the crusades.

Not all Muslim activists look for excuses it just seems that way because the ones that make excuses are mostly exposed by the media. There are plenty of Muslim activists that I know that are like any normal activist that seek justice for their people in constructive ways.

There are fanatics in every religion. Don't worry about it. It's best not to point out that these are "Muslim" activists. Muslims are being targetted in the West so it's best to leave them alone and deal with the fanatics as fanatics, not as Muslims. Islam and fanaticism are two opposites.

Stereotyping human beings is thoughtless and ignorant. you will possibly desire to attain that anybody is somebody, and in the Muslim faith there are non violent people who're not violent. by the way, i'm not a Muslim - only somebody who's bored with folk stereotyping others.

All extremists will have a vision of the world that justifies their actions. It's the religious equivalent of a pub bully saying that someone did not show him any respect and deserved the beating.
