I'm seriously curious as to why the latter has a greater importance in God's plan according to the Koran. If God is supreme and the single diety, why does Muhammad get so much attention?

(My intent is not to insult but to understand).

Do they have a morality? I have seen Jesus Camp, the most scary documentary movie I ever see in my life. But this people who are shown in a documentary movie are hypocrite: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Haggard.

I just can't believe it. Don't parents check up people they trust their children for "religion education"? I mean, what is wrong with you, that you even force children to that kind of education.

it seems that contestants from the same southern and western and southwestern states win top honors in the miss america pageant. ive been told that these states put more money into the pageant and that is why. what do you think. i am so tired of seeinmg this happen for years on end.

How can you wish a person 'happy birthDAY' when it's not his birth DAY, its his birth DATE? How can you wish him a happy birthday when he wasn't born at that time nor day? Iif he was born in January, why don't you all wish him a happy birthmonth? That way he'll get presents every day! If he was born on a Monday, doesn't that make every Monday his birthDAY? So howcome people wish each other a happy birthDAY when people celebrate their birth in the month, date and time they were born and never the DAY?????? Their birthDAY would come only after a few years.

I'm from the north and moved south and I don't eat pork and many of my friends and family up north do not eat pork either. I was just wondering why it is the southerner's I meet are shocked or insulted when they find out I don't eat pork. A lot of the blacks I meet down here (I too am black) say that "I wasn't raised", because I don't eat pork. My mom eats I just don't and neither does my dad. I get insulted when people attack my families parenting skills over something that is simply a dietary choice. But I don't really understand the upheaval about it and was wondering if there were any southerner's particularly black southerner's who might be able to shed some light on the subject.

I read in a recent newspaper report that fairer/taller people earn more. One shade ligher is worth one year of additional education and one inch in heigth is worth 1% increase in wages.

The government says, and I quote Mr Blair "I start from a very firm foundation. There is no place in our society for discrimination. That's why I support the right of gay couples to apply to adopt like any other couple. And yet it is clear that discrimination is not only present, instead it is on the rise!

By stripping Catholics of the right to live by their beliefs and their faith, isn't that discrimination? Catholics believe that marriage is a sacred sacrament that leads to the production of a nourishing family environment, and can only occur between a male and a female. Catholics, DO NOT see being of homosexual orientation as a sin, despite what many out there may think. The church however, teaches that there must only be sexual activity within the marriage, and it teaches that marriage can only occur between male and female.

I am planning a “devotional gathering” (an interreligious meeting for prayer) for people in my neighborhood. Most of the people coming are Muslims, but there will also be some Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists and Baha’is. I’m thinking the key is creating (and maintaining) an atmosphere of humility. Any ideas on how to do that? Venue is in a large home in Indonesia.
