Please help if you can, i really need your opinion on how you see australia. good points/bad points about it. what it can do to improve. loved much!

good points.....uhhhhh. Bad points: constantly having to defend your offspring from dingos, lousy slang, annoying accent, too much of the country is desert and poor for human habitation, and high percentage of people would trace their ancestors to being criminals. Oh an nostereotyping's boyfriend was from Austrailia and he was a jerk!!

I think we have a bloody fantastic country. I'm proud to be Australian. Our scenery and landscapes are unique. We have a a great Indigenous Culture. Our country is clean and relatively safe. We have a fairly low crime rate considering we are a nation started by convicts who were dumped here by the British in a hope that they would perish. We are great sportsmen and have our own Australian Football League, there's no other sport in the world quite like it! We are bloody good at cricket especially when it comes to the Poms. We have fantastic an unique animals like the koala, kangaroo, wallaby, goanna and the dreaded dingo......who I might add, doesn't steal as many babies as is rumoured, just to name a few. I think the worst thing about our great country is that we are still part of the monarchy.....we have lived independently as a country, fending for ourselves for many years now. It's time we were free of Mother England and had a flag of our own!! By the way, I don't hate or even dislike English people, I have alot of Pommy relatives who I love to bits. I just think it's time for us to be Independant of England.

I've never been there, but I'd really love to when I'll be able to afford it.
I see the Australians as being friendly, and with a generally good sense of humour. I have friends there, and they are definitely great examples of what Australia has to offer in terms of the kindness and consideration (as well as friendliness) of Australians. Steve Irwin (god bless him) was a great example of the enthusiasm on the Australians.
Food wise, my friends have told me that it's not all that different from here, but they do eat emu and Kangaroo. weird, but something I'd love to try.
In terms of scenery, well, as I've said, I've never been, but from what my friends tell me, and from photos I've seen (as well as billy Connolly's tour), it looks great. Great beech's, and quite amazing landscape.
And wildlife, well i don't have to tell you Australia's famous for it.
All in all, I have a VERY high opinion of Australia.

I think they are a great nation, one of my favourites. They have a great set-up there in regards to economy, government, jobs, etc.
The crime isn't so bad there and everything functions and works in order. They have awesome sports teams (esp. cricket and rugby).
The people are all laid back, friendly and have good relations with other nations. But they also aren't a country without a backbone who let the immigrants move in and turn things in their favour (shades of the UK). John Howard is a great leader!

I've never been. I dated a guy from Australia once, he was a jerk, but I know that him, not your country. I have seen it on the travel channel and it looks great!

the bad thing is, the most racist country in the world ,the good thing is secured country,transportation is good ,english is good people all living there tell they live aussie life ,may be they dont know australia was kept as prison house by the british ruler in oldendays

Ausralia is the only counry that kangaroo is found. The Australian's are proud of peace and stability.

It's a country full of ex convicts from Britain. You should stay away if you value your safety.
