I have a cleaning lady in my crib right now, cleaning her *** off. She's doing a fab job, she is polite and has a sweet personality. She came from an agency but I'm hoping to hire her "off the books" in future. The overall cleaning is costing $90. My crib is a bad mess so she really has to put in work. How much should I tip her?

How safe is your hood? will you get shot if by a black person if you venture to your fried chicken shack at 1am?

Value is usually defined as something that is assigned worth due to what you can recive for it. Somethings are said to have intrinsic value or worth. What is it that makes life, in and of itself, valuable? How can I say that your life has enough worth for me to go out of my way and establish common ground?

This question is for sophic atheists. That is to say, atheists that believe we should still respect and love each other and value human life regardless of the fact that there is no real intrinsic value in "social good". Fear of the government is weak, especially in our current democratic mindset. It is not enough incentive for me to refrain from killing homosexuals (who can be seen as socially unproductive) and euthinising the old.

Therefore, can you provide a system which assigns proper value to humanity outside of government and so-called "do-good" mentalities (i.e., "We should just love each other!" Bull, I should kill you, take your land, and make my own family.)

To the atheists who say they used to be Christians. Did you receive Christ and have fellowship with God? If so, how do you support your argument that God is absolutely non-existent if you used to know Him like you say?

I just started modeling nude for a drawing class at an all girls college and now I am wondering if I should quit. The first two sessions I really didnt do bad but the girls are all freshman and white and I felt they were poking fun of me too much. I am an East Indian guy from India and very dark skin and I overheard comments calling me an ape, and one girl said I looked like a chimpanzee. I know they arent saying this to me but I could hear it. Also, I am only an inch not aroused and I could hear the giggles. Are these white girls being inappropriate with me? I am thinking of going to Dean with this

Finally, the name Xtians give him is "Yeshuah, not yashuah." We as Jews aren't supposed to be saying the name anyways because he is a foreign idol/god. He is the reason our people were murdered for centuries. He is the reason our children are attacked with Bibles and quotes and "his blood is on you and your family" if we cannot afford to send them to a Jewish school and they have to go public. Give me one reason why we SHOULD like him. What's he done for us besides cause death and aggravation for our nation?

In other words, religious dogma or sermons have the same positive effects on me as motivational talks as long it speak to my issues.

Or am I missing something?

I hope my question is not too confusing - I don't know how to make it clearer. Let me know.

I hear too often nonbelievers quoting from the Bible and they always have it out of context.

Lesson 1
the Bible is not like your average book: It took 3500 years to write, finished 2000 years ago
just with that in mind, do you think the people writting and the people reading the books might have had a different life style then we do today - and so the things you think you understand mean something totally different - is that even possible???
come on we have that in society today - try listening to a conversation between someone from Alabama and one from NYC

Lesson 2
People did not write in single unconnected verses - read in paragraphs - have you ever heard somebody quoted and then later saying that was taken out of context and it sounds completely opposite then what they were trying to say - well you guys do this all the time - I should say Christians do this too

If you dont understand the Bible - maybe try studying it instead of just talking bad about it

Throughout the bible the males get all the glory the females are usually a afterthought almost like cattle, could this be because all societies at that time were strictly patriarchal and men control every faucet of life.

If Jesus and his father God are males would they not need a female God because without a female the concept of male makes no sense and vice versa.

first, just so we're clear, im white. i troll these forums more than i answer them and in my trolling i seem to have come across some crazy freakin people. if white people are the racists, why is it the minorities who have all the out-of-this-world, i cant believe there's really people out there with these viewpoints kind of answers. i mean i am seriously appalled at some of these people and their answers. and im not talking about simple i dont like white people answers, i mean like all white people should die answers. call me racist or whatever for posing simply asking a questiong but i hope some of the people i have in mind answer. and by the way, its obvious these people arent white telling either by their avatar or theyll actually say their ethnicity in their other answers.

...recall the UK's media's 'fear', with the usual words being bandied about to make some of us wary and eventually offensive, with some of our opinions (and 'verdicts') being aired on Yahoo Answers...could it be that people from the said countries have ignored the (mostly Londoncentric) hype, and indeed, realise Continental Europe is the place to take their trade and experience?

Where does the Aramaic fit in? I thought that was Jesus' native tongue, though it is reasonable to speculate that he spoke Hebrew and an early Latin language due to the interference of the Roman Empire in the region at the time.

Today, I was enrolling my son at a new school. Myself, my son , this black lady and her son were all waiting to meet the Principal. I was called in first because my paperwork had been turned in yesterday. This "lady" started eyeballing me like I was the Anti-Christ. After I left the Principal's office It got worse she was actually sneering and muttering while mad dogging me. WTF?

I think it is a form of reverse psychology. Turn the majority into victims and turn the vocal minority into the abuser. You would not believe how many christian I speak with who honestly say they are being persecuted by the liberals and atheists in America (let me see...85% christian 15% non-christian).
