For someone else to have to clean up?
Their blood is still contaminated too you know?
Someone else could become a vampire if they got that blood in a wound or something?

Yes I'm sure money left in the pockets are nice for variants and the homeless the victims whom they usually prey on. BB

Betty it's not like they can put the whole vampire in their pocket(sans head) and walk down the street whistling a happy tune.
The blood was supposed to be tainted with the vampiric curse.
Especially in the Viagrinic or Lillithian lore the vampire could infect three generations, so handling the dead body took some care.

Well, more and more vampires are becoming psychic vamps and not your sang ones. Second a blood transfer doesn't work like that and you flat out couldn't become a vampire trust from getting their blood, after they have been killed, into an open wound on your body. Third even if a slayer did have a wound they would cover it up.

When slayers stake their victims, the vampires turn to dust - blood, bone, everything. All that's left is a pile of dust that is soon dispersed by the wind. And it isn't contaminated!
Also, to become a vampire you have to drink their blood after they've drunk yours. Doesn't work if all that happens is you happen to inhale a few drops!

The folklore I learned was if the vampire did not drain you to death
because he was saving you to become his vampire bride (or something) then it took three bites from a vampire
before any "change" occured

I'm sure it is annoying if vampires existed. Slayers must thing all that bloody gutsy stuff will be ashes by morning.
