whos the racist here?

first, just so we're clear, im white. i troll these forums more than i answer them and in my trolling i seem to have come across some crazy freakin people. if white people are the racists, why is it the minorities who have all the out-of-this-world, i cant believe there's really people out there with these viewpoints kind of answers. i mean i am seriously appalled at some of these people and their answers. and im not talking about simple i dont like white people answers, i mean like all white people should die answers. call me racist or whatever for posing simply asking a questiong but i hope some of the people i have in mind answer. and by the way, its obvious these people arent white telling either by their avatar or theyll actually say their ethnicity in their other answers.

i knew id be called a racist for just asking the question. i love it.

im not sure how my question insinuates ive been living under a rock. im not talking about racism in the big scheme of things, im only specifically referring to people on this site.

well it has always been a double standard when it comes to racism...i am confussed on why other races can be proud to be whatever it is they are...but if we say we are proud to be white, we are racists...they can call us out of our name and thats ok....we do it...we are racists..

i know that is not exactly what you asked...it just made me think of that...and thought i should express!

If your neighbor's grandfather spent a number of years thinking it was okay to whip your grandfather whenever he got the chance, taught his sons to hold disrespect for your grandfather and the rest of your family, and got mad at you everytime you asked him or his family to apologize, would you make friends with your neighbor? I wouldn't. Of course all white people didn't live like this because all white people didn't own slaves. But I don't recall ever reading where white folks dealt with slave- like conditions in this country. So whether a person sympathize or not, you don't know what it's like so you can only sympathize to a degree. In my opinion, that is why alot of black people distrust white people. You can say "aw, thats a shame" all want but it doesn't help anybody. Some black people recognize empty retoric- not just from whites but other blacks too. Like Jessie.

I find it amusing that some white people are surprised that alot of black people don't trust them. Slavery ended generations ago but the civil rights movement was only 30-40yrs ago. That isn't so long ago where people can forget being spit on, or having dogs siced on them, or having to accept less than standard conditions.

Also, I've seen far more negative comments from whites towards blacks than the other way around on here. I've seen things that were outright offensive. I guess you missed those questions like "why can't black people go back to Africa" or "when are blacks going to get off welfare". I'm not at all surprised at any of the questions, whether from a black or white. I am surprised that people are still acting like racism doesn't exist when so many things in our lives and our cultures, suggest differently. There was nothing you said in your question to indicate you were a racist but it does make me wonder if you've been living under a rock. No offense intended.

whilst i'm not racist myself i do believe that 'minorities' get it easy! we say something that is not racist, like black people are generally (blah blah blah...). even if its not bad what we're saying some are like 'you racist white ba*tard!' - if they were to say something really racist (like you mentioned) nobody would give a toss! they don't get called racist at all and it's not fair to discriminate us white people.

so apparently it's not racist if it's the minority bullying the majority...

when there was a fuel strike in the UK a petrol station had a sign saying 'asians only, no whites', nothing was done about it (as racist and segregational as it was) - yet had it been the other way round it would have been a very different story. bearing in mind this was in like 2003 or something.

i'm able to't stand that type of videos like "Norbit" and "who's Your Caddy?" that are supposedly "for black human beings purely"...if a movie concerning the different race like that changed into made, extraordinarily white, we may not in any respect hear the end of it. Our international is screwed and there is little desire for peace. And if this entire "gangster is cool" section that has been happening because the ninety's, then dwindled away purely to be revived in 2003 would not end ,i will pull my hair out.

Im not seeing the anti white questions at the moment, just the anti black. sad that these questions are allowed to even stay and not get deleted. I spoke out against illegal immigration from mexico and they deleted my question with the quickness.

I'll have to agree with Brian said above, so don't single out minorities. There are people of all racial backrounds making rediculous and ignorate comments about other races. If you feel it really offends you or others here then do what I do, say your peace about it and/or report it to Yahoo and let them deal with situation.

In my opinion every race has a racist bunch about them. Sometimes ppl who say things like that are on that pity boat like poor me the white man wont let me get a job. .. Cmon there are just as much out of work white ppl as there are other races..
