Yes...by all means go the the Dean! A nude model should be nothing more than an object to the artist.

Those girls are DEFINITLY being inappropriate! I'm guessing this is for an art class. That's what should be going on. Art. Not criticism, giggling, or poking fun. The teacher should be keeping the peace and not let those sort of activities escalate. Go to the dean if that sort of stuff continues.
As far as quitting, well that's a personal issue that really only you can answer. You have to weigh the pro's and con's of the job and then make a decision.

I would speak out and tell them they are not there to judge, but to draw and if they can't draw without speaking, to please leave the classroom. Personally, you are brave as I would never do that nude. I am not self confident. Think about or re-evaluate the reasons why you really became a nude model. Some girls are immature and giggle because they are nervous. I would speak to the head honcho, and tell him/her that if they don't speak to the students, you will. I would let the students know, you can hear them, and it isn't nice to poke fun at anyone as I am sure they wouldn't be willing to sit up there and be judged. There are women who would be very happy with your body, even if they aren't. Keep their unkind comments to themselves. I am sure it isn't just white girls, just because there are white girls there, doesn't mean it is a racist thing. Don't think in that direction. I am sure it isn't that at all.

One of the things that an art teacher must discuss with the class is diversity and understanding of the human body. More than likely you are beautiful person and you have courage and integrity for doing what you do, despite what others might think.
I would quit if I heard this...and I would inform the teacher about this and mention who those students were. The class is suppost to hold a certain amount of professionalism. And, not to worry...Karma will bit them in the butt.

As long as you have high self esteem, dont let others bring you down. They are just showing ignorance. There isnt a perfect person with the perfect body... (even though some think they are). Any behavior where you have to disrespect another person is inappropriate behavior. Did the instructor not hear what these students where saying? You can go to the Dean, but it will be one of those typical your work against theirs situations. BUT the important thing is that you stood up for what is right and what you belive!!! Love yourself & dont let "stupid" poke fun bring you down!!! They might have been saying all these things b/c they like you and you might be the total package :-()... But however it goes, Best Wishes!!!

Just go model somewhere else. If you live in a city, nude models for art classes/schools are always needed. There's no reason to sit somewhere naked where people are laughing at you. I used to model for old people for an independent group. They didn't care about anything but what they were drawing.

It sounds to me as if they are being very inappropriate and very immature. I wonder how many of them would be willing to get up in front of people and honestly "bare all"? I bet most of them would not even leave home without their make-up. Tell these young (not-yet) ladies to grow up or go back to high school or junior high. Don't do anything that makes you feel "less than" or is a blow to your self-esteem. Nobody and no job has the right to make you feel that way. Good luck. (Yes-report them by the way but talk to the teacher first).

Quit modelling there if you feel uncomfortable. Nobody should be made to be uncomfortable with their won bodies. Those girls are bullying you and you aren't even a student! Got to another school if you really enjoy modelling and hopefully this problem will not occur again. GOOD LUCK!!

Go to the instructor. The students are being inappropriate and immature and part of their instruction should be in how to deal with live models. Certainly if you feel uncomfortable you should feel free to quit, but it would be a good idea to explain to the instructor why you are leaving.

They sound really immature. The ones who are laughing are obviously not serious about becoming artists.
If you can tolerate their teasing, continue modeling. You may want to speak to their teacher before you speak to the dean--hopefully, he or she will instruct them on the proper treatment of life models.
