Muslims cannot be responsible for 9/11 because if a Muslim were to kill innocent people and commit suicide than he is not considered a Muslim to the people of Islam. The person may think he is Muslim but he is wrong and any Muslim would say so. To the Islamic people the person is considered an extremist. No where in the Quran says its okay to kill yourself and innocent people in Gods name. They may be of the middle eastern descent but that does not mean they represent the Muslims. These people give Muslims a bad name and people need to open there minds and take in the truth and just think about it.

I am a teacher, and I was discussing with my students that we entered a new year, 2007. So, I said "Happy New Year" and we talked about resolutions to do better with the new start. I requested that my students write down their promises to themselves for the new year, and I had a couple Witnesses who informed me that they could not do the assignment because they are not allowed to talk about the new year.

Were they just trying to get out of the work, or is it really a doctrine that does not allow them to mention the New Year and discuss resolutions to better themselves?

okay so it sounds a bit sick but why not clone humans with intentionally vegatative brain functions to use for organ harvesting? its a bit distasteful but think of the countless lives that could be saved and/or enhanced... obviously we dont have the technology for this at the moment but it is just around the corner... why not play god? I'm in public relations and I'm basically very good at what I do: writing and media relations. I'm a reliable workhorse. But creativity and "brainstorming" are part of my job also. I can come up with creative ideas when I'm alone and have time to think (I'm an introvert), but if I'm in a meeting with others, it's like I can't think! Everyone else can come up with a ton of ideas on the spot, but I throw out maybe one or two. When I do come up with an idea, half the time, the VP makes a face, critiques the idea or looks at the prez as if to say, "Should I waste my time even writing that idea down?" I feel so inadequate by comparison and intimidated. What do I do? Am I doomed to never go past the Account Supervisor level? I'm afraid to go to another agency, for fear things could be even worse there! Things are bad where I am now, but the turnover is low. I think I could stay as long as I get along with the VP. How do I grow professionally? How do I learn to brainstorm successfully?

I was told by a close friend that when a child reaches a certain age they start focusing on their looks (aka puberty).
That age is getting younger and younger now that little girls and boys are watching "beautiful" people living fake lives through television shows.
Why does the media define beauty as "being thin and clear skin and perfect features"?
There is only a handful of larger, "imperfect" people in the entertainment industry, and I've noticed most of them are men.
Is the media somehow brainwashing our younger generations?

treating animals like humans is ok but treating humans like animals isnt .. can some one clear this up a bit ..I posted a page from DARAP about if we held humans to the standard as the show dogs and people got really mad...but I also ask if it was alright to call your dog a fur baby. and people like the idea ..I just dont understand shouldnt it go both ways

my computer every now and then turns on during the night when i'm asleep usually around 2:00am to 3:30am normally i turn it off just by pushing the button but last night i was holding the button down untill it would turn off and it never would then i disconnected it and it went off. Now during the day it was totally fine. This normally happens about once a month or maybe more then two months. Those other times i just push the button and it turns off but not last night do you guys think something is wrong with my computer or is it a spirit?

I'm 19, male and been single all my life. Quite a few people have encouraged me to 'start getting a girl' or something as cheesy as that. Some people are even surprised that I've never even gone out with a girl all my life and I have no intention in doing so either. To me, apart from many reasons why, I don't date or even chat up girls (or anyone/anything for that matter) and it's not even on my life's 'list of things to do'. But why do some people especially ones who have or are dating themselves are more concerned when a) it's none of their business and b) it'll bring no benefit to them whatsoever?
