Were muslims responsible with 9/11?

Muslims cannot be responsible for 9/11 because if a Muslim were to kill innocent people and commit suicide than he is not considered a Muslim to the people of Islam. The person may think he is Muslim but he is wrong and any Muslim would say so. To the Islamic people the person is considered an extremist. No where in the Quran says its okay to kill yourself and innocent people in Gods name. They may be of the middle eastern descent but that does not mean they represent the Muslims. These people give Muslims a bad name and people need to open there minds and take in the truth and just think about it.

terrorists who unfortunately happened to believe they were true muslims were responsible. i know that because i meet muslims daily and they are nice people, but those who do not know any muslims sometimes may not accept that. to them a muslim is the person they see wielding an assault rifle in iraq or protesting by burning a car in depressed areas in france as shown on tv. they see the extremists and generelise and stereotype, but the thing is, that's human.

People have thought about it. They were muslim. Sorry ... they were...I am not saying that is what every muslim stands for, but that fact remains. And it wasn't just those involved with 9/11 that have given muslims a bad name but the people of islam as a whole. We never see any of them standing up and saying anything other than "We are good people. We believe in peace." But we never see any examples of this. All we see is the hate, the violence and the intolerance.

No, but our government has told so many lies I'm not sure who is responsible for 9/11. History will probably tell us it was Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld arrogance that was responsible for it. The Bush regime knew about it, but chose to ignore it. I'm sure it's because they figured it would fail.

It certainly wasn't the Muslims, they're just being used to hide the truth about the real motives behind 9/11.

Yes. Muslims were responsible for 9/11 because the attackers considered themselves muslims. They pray to Allah and believe that they are doing his work. Of course not all Muslims are of this frame of thought. Most are decent responsible individuals. Unfortunately, these militants give Muslims a bad name.
