He has given us this short life but in this short time we can grow tremendously in a spiritual way. This life on earth is indeed short but eternity is forever. Our time here determines how our afterlife will be. If we will believe in Jesus as our Lord and follow his example we can get to Heaven with our dead loved ones and with God himself. We will have all eternity to explore Heaven and this entire universe or universes if we choose to!

God has created every human from himself and therefore our spirits are immortal and cannot die. Our spirits (the real us) live on after death. It would be very sad if this life was all there was. We mean more than that to God. He intends to live in harmony with him forever after we die. Once we are created we are in existence forever. Not even hell could cause someone to vanish out of existence.

If God said a short life is all you have but worship me for giving you that?

THATS OK WITH ME!

Given the number of people who die at an early age, I'm very grateful for every year that I've been given -- no matter how many or few that I have left.

I've enjoyed my life, and I thank God for every moment of it.

That made no sense..

Go back to school and learn how to write sentences my friend.

G.B.

I would be nothing without God, God would STILL be everything without me. What else can I do but live my life for him? What else can I say?!

For an atheist, you really think about God a lot. :-)

Anyway, I'd worship God regardless.

You are stating how it really is. Our lives our short and we should be thankful for having it. He could have very easily decided not to create humanity at all. Then where would we be. No where.
