Both families had to volunteer to be on wife swap. That means both sets of parents have seen the program and had some idea what the show is about. Both sets of parents had to tell their children what to expect and what was expected of them. So The whole time I am watching this mismatched group of people interact ... I'm asking myself what each of them expected to get out of the swap??? Wish I could ask them.

It's interesting that you put "versus" on there for the description. I really found that it seemed to be a competition rather than an eye-opening experience for both families. I saw little value in this particular episode, and it did not seem like the families got a lot out of it. This show, while interesting to watch, is going to some big extremes as of recent, and it seems like the Christian vs. Atheist episode really took the cake!

I saw that. I was frustrated that the Atheists were represented by a family that was very out of the ordinary. I liked them, and admire them as free thinkers, but I can just hear all the Christians saying 'typical Atheists having pole dancing parties in front of their children.'

Saw it. Both sides seemed pretty intolerable for my taste....
The Christian mother asking the boy to pray seemed disrespectful, but the Atheist mother taking down the religious items from the Christian home didn't show a high level of understanding....

hahaha i flipped thru the channels and saw it. I think there was a total disrespect from both parties and both sides kinda irritated me; the Christians were too protective and secluded and the atheists seemed as if they thoguht they were somehow superior and right. But whatever...so goes life. Peace.

Oh Shoot, I missed it. I love to watch that sort of thing. Sick I know, but it is very humorous. I liked the one with the animal rights activist who had to go to the home of the man that went hunting every day and had all of those animal heads on his wall. Do tell me what I missed.

Yes, they were all intolerant and pushy. Both families felt that the other's viewpoints were irrelevant and threatening.

I think they all just needed to chill. They both had positive points, they both had negative points. And they both should have been kinder to each other.
