Depends on the girl. If you have a strong will and self-respect, plus a good support system of girlfriends, go ahead and tell the guy. If he laughs, he's a jerk and not worth your time. If he says thanks but not thanks, he's just being honest and you can move on.
Don't tell a guy you love him unless you've spent enough time with him first. Dates and dances and ball games etc
