I know what you mean, but don't worry too much, an intelligent man wouldn't do it. So stay apart of that kind, and look for someone who valorates woman for what woman are, and that gives you the nice things you need to fall inlove.
An intelligent man will know that the same rigths are about the job oportunities, the rigth to be listened, the rigth to make your own choices, and it has nothing to do with the romantic life.
An intelligent man will know that a woman migth like a man to be gentleman, but woman knows that a man likes a woman to be sweet and tender, and maybe give hima good massage, or cook for him one day.

When dating, you are right. However in other areas of life if we are equal we are equal. Look at the double standard where all those women teachers are having sex with 12 and 13 year old boys. They get a slap on the wrist if that. Men? Jail for 40 years. What is equal?

I have never agreed with the women's rights activists who have put many women in harm's way due to their extreme demands. Men & women were not created equal & are created completely different for many reasons. I don't want to be like a man, equal to a man or treated like a man. If it comes to a working environment & my qualifications warranted the same income or recognition for advancement, then yes, I would expect that but in every day life, I want to be treated with care, respect & honor. I am a woman and proud to have doors opened for me, offered help when I need it, yes, I want to be preferred by men not over them.

See, I look at it this way. If a man and a woman have the same exact job with the same exact responsibilities they should be paid the same exact amount of money. I also think that women are equally capable of doing a job a man is capable of doing. Me, personally, I would not ever get into what is often called a "mans line of work" for example, construction work BUT a woman who is into that type of work IS equally capable of doing the work and should therefore be paid equally. When it comes to a man courting a woman it is a completely different thing, we should be treated with respect and be well taken care of because even though we should be treated equally in the work place we still like to feel comfortable and safe in the arms of a man, its just in our DNA.
WELL SAID FOREVER!

No. So many men can't figure out the difference between being a gentleman when it's called for, and when men and women should be treated equal.
We call those men idiots. They actually KNOW the difference, they just don't like it so they use that to press women's buttons.
Come up with a clever answer to stump them, or agree with them!
Give 'em some of their own medicine.

A proper man would never do this. Also, NO ONE could never win an argument like this with a woman. Only a fool would attempt it.
And well, if they are a chauvinistic jerk, they deserve to learn this the hard way.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of women snapping at me when I open a door for them, and then watching them push the dinner tab to me for payment. And the drinks tab. And the entertainment tab. The transporation tab. The mortgage. The insurance. The food. The car payment. The alimony.
You're equal now, YOU pay half. And open the dam door for me, my hands are full.

Soooooo, what you are saying is...you don't want equal rights, but more special privileges? Yeah, thought so. You are the reason men don't treat women well.

first of all, definitions of 'gentleman' differ.
second, when there are equal rights, expect equal treatment. but i don't think its an excuse to behave like an idiot.

I find it hard to agree or disagree without specific examples. If a woman doesn't like the way a guy treats her when they're dating she should simply stop dating him.
